I will have to see if I can dig up the video where I saw some pot plants that appeared to be around 12 - 18 inches tall. I think they came from the Rhoden's property. Will look after supper.

Sorry! VA should not be in above post. Wish my extra fingers would mind their own business!

Am I understanding correctly that Ohio just legalized marijuana for medical use? I read an article that said Ohioans can now drive to states where it is legal and purchase it and bring it back home. Said its still illegal to smoke but can be used in other ways. I remember seeing something about some sort of medical license CR had. Does this seem coincidental to anyone else? Article says it will not be available to purchase in state until 2017. I know nothing about growing it, or growing anything for that matter, how long do you grow it before you can use it? I remember we talked about it some threads ago, but I can't help but wonder if there is something to it!

The last time my extra fingers got in the way, they had everyone headed to Minn!

I think that "company" was set up several years ago IIRC. The Rhoden's started improving properties and adding trailers, buildings, etc.. back some time ago. Even if last year's vote had gone through it would have done CR1 and their pot business no good at all. I don't know how this will be laid out exactly but it was done fairly under the radar. Last year's vote was unsuccessful only b/c it was written so that only a few businesses could profit from it. The Rhodens, I pretty darned sure, would not have been one of them.

Yeah, I suppose! It just seems odd and it coincides with the timing. I think I read the dates of 4/16 and 5/9. The murders occurred between those dates.

Youtube site Rhoden fam...200 plants - TOMO,
Crime scenes...growth op - NBC.
Here's two, many others are also available.

I think that's just a "stock" photo, not from the crime scene. No news media were allowed inside any of the crime scenes during the investigation.

Forgot to mention that after seeing a few more videos, both mobile homes are 70' in length. In fact, I also think they are 14' wide, so both are most likely to be between 900 and 1000 sq. Ft., Depending on the floor plan.

Could be, I didn't think about how far away media was kept.

Do you mean the dates he set the business up? I was thinking it was set up several years ago. Ohio voted on legalization last fall and voted it down b/c it was set up to only benefit a handful of growers/sellers. No way it would have benefited the Rhodens (unless they were possibly growing medical quality pot, which is very, very, time/labor intensive, and could sell it to the medical suppliers. But I don't think they could have even gotten into the business that way , the way the bill was set up.)

IIRC two of the homes showed signs of b&e. But, yeah, I think they broke in. Maybe not, at CR1's though, but even if they were invited in, I think it didn't go as planned there, but it didn't stop them. They may have expected CR1 and GR to be asleep and they weren't so change of plan. (just a thought). Then, went to the other homes, and it all went pretty much as planned. The victims were in bed except for CR1 & GR. Someone helped with this. They had some way to easily get in. One other place may have had a key hidden. KR's, possibly, for BJM to clean there. But, no, the only place I see them possibly being let in was at CR1's and even there I'm not so sure. They could have surprised CR1 and GR as they broke in or entered w/the key. I've even thought that KR and another person pulled this off, KR was disgruntled at his brother and his family for bringing GR in for other connections and it cut his share. So, when it was all over with, and they went back to KR's trailer, and settled in to get their alibis straight, the other guy just killed KR, and took all of the money, and cameras. Left that supposed money at KR's to throw the LE off. Just one of several theories I've got floating around.

That's a scenario that has occurred to me, too.

Right now, tbh, the KR and an accomplice, is in my top three. There was a guy I read about, recently arrested, who hired a man to kill his family. The guy did. But the guy who hired the guy showed up at the home at the same time and killed the hired man and tried to sell it to the LE that he caught the guy after he'd murdered his family so he murdered the assailant, there at the family home. His story unraveled fairly quickly. That's kind of what made me think of this. Only KR was the one that got murdered and not the guy he recruited to help him.

No, the dates I referenced were in the article. It mentioned May 9th, I think, was the day they passed the law. The April 16th I may have made up! I think you are right about the medical license thing being several years ago.

As much as I do not want this theory to be true, it weighs heavily on my mind! I see the money strewn as not necessarily throwing off LE but one last clue as to what could be the motive! MONEY! Money can be linked to envy, lust, greed and pride! That's 4 of your seven deadly sins right there! Lust over it, envy those who have it, take pride in it and want more of it and never have enough!

Wow though, that should've been almost the perfect crime! He must've done something pretty stupid for that to come to light! I mean, that could've easily been self defense!

I have been going over some of the videos and news items, this link with CR's mobile home shows the window on the right end with something hanging out, I think it is to heavy looking to be a curtain but can't figure out what it is. To what I am thinking someone either exited or tried to escape thought the window.

Looking at the garage, the back part that is a little higher, in pictures earlier there was a door, windows and steps. When they moved the homes it was moved also,I am looking for the photos of what the property looks like now all you see is the garage the back addition is not on the garage. Just has me wondering the significance of it would be.
