I very much agree with your line of thinking. I haven't ruled out HR and the drama surrounding her. It's a very compelling possibility. The problem I have with HR being the target is why go 7 miles to kill an uncle? It doesn't appear HR and KR were particularly close. If he had been a meddling uncle that made threats to anyone who hurt his niece, I would be solidly in your camp. From what I can tell, KR was just a good old country boy , maybe into some illegal stuff, maybe with anger/impulse control issues, but he minded his own business for the most part.

KR's death points me toward CR1 being the target. I believe CR1 broke off a romantic relationship with someone and that is who is responsible. The only person that might fit this description, that I can find in the narrow view of the internet, would not have had to go out of her way to kill KR.

Yes, while agree w/the family theory, I don't see HR as the cause. In my family theory, I always come back to CR1 as being the root cause of what happened and KR being murdered is either b/c he was CR1's brother and #1 man or KR was very ticked at his family for some reason and somehow involved in the murders and it got him killed too.

I believe LE and the family have way more info than the general public. For the 1st several threads in this case, we had a few locals on here, they've seemed to disappear. We haven't heard from adt1984 in quite some time now, nor have we heard from kaylee advocate. Those are the 2 I remember. I know there was at least 1 more.

I think, as much as it sucks, we have to be patient! I believe if LE finds this case going cold, they will eventually release what they know and plea with the public for assistance and maybe even offer an award at some point. This is a horrendous crime , and regardless of what this family was into, murdering another human being in cold blood, imo, makes anything else seem petty and we have 8 people here! I imagine when that arrest comes, this will not be a quick and speedy trial.

Everybody has talked about the evidence, the death certificates, autopsy reports and the time line on when it is believed the reports should be back. I cannot believe that releasing death certificates, autopsy reports and any other info that Is NOT info just the killers would know could possibly be detrimental to this case. It has been said LE is waiting on toxicology reports. My experience in nursing has been knowing that this info is usually available within a couple of weeks.
We already know what killed China, and what killed Prince, but after 9 weeks we STILL have no tox reports on the victims of this mass murder?!
Are LE going to continue to put us off by blaming the crime lab and their "overwhelming" backlog of work as to why they have "nothing new to report"? This case is supposed to be the #1 case in the state, and we're supposed to believe that getting info in a timely manner isn't happening because the crime lab is overworked! GIVE ME A BREAK!!! Either they have someone under the microscope, so to speak, or they don't have a clue.
I can understand why they aren't going to be releasing any names, but deliberately withholding non identifying reports can definitely arouse suspicion. OK, end of rant on my part!
This is from 2010 but I'd say it's not too far off the mark today. They should have had something back by now or will very soon.

Ok,I am enjoying these great posts..I am sure we are hitting on little parts of evidence, but not the big part just yet.
I am following jk204 and the og , but I have stated before, the killer is a mystery and will stay that way until we can
do some speculations, which is a violation..jmo

I haven't followed enough cases to know if it is usual for locals to post and then disappear, but I've noticed the same thing on the Missy Bevers case. I'm guessing in some cases they feel they shared too much info.

The rogue cop is supposed to have a trial hearing in July, I think around the 23rd. It will be interesting to see if it makes the news and what happens...

So, Ray, are you still thinking this could be done by only one person? Yesterday somebody started posting whose user info I don't remember seeing before, a former LEO. They made some really good comments concerning who the killers could be. It helped me to think about avenues I hadn't put much thought into.

I find it astonishing that this case has been cold from since 2 weeks after the killings. What gives????

Mike DeWine: "I assume the person or persons who committed these murders are watching the news reports and I don't intend to broadcast any details that would be helpful to them." Pretty sure this explains why more info has not been released. He's keeping his cards close to the vest. Besides, he certainly doesn't want to mess up, considering that this is a very high profile case.

We are looking for a connection with KR. Is it possible he witnessed fights and threats in the household?

There was a good discussion yesterday about KR living with the rest of the family. Have we concluded on this?

Did he spend the whole cold winter in his camper trailer or did he live with another member for a while? Where HR and DR lived before moving into their new home just a month before the events?

I think it is within the TOS to establish a timeline of the deceased. Can we map this over the last year?

I will be traveling and will reconnect in a week. Cheers, JK

I've hesitated to say this, but. :) By complete fluke last weekend, I met a kid that knew HG. He told me where he was from originally and my jaw dropped. His personal feeling from what he knows of the family and circumstances is that no one else is in danger from whoever killed the 8. That's all I've got.

bbm..

You say "kid", do you know how old he is? If he is around Hannah's age, is he wise beyond his years, or do you think he is just speculating, since I am certain there are 10 dozen or more rumours floating around. We could probably use his help here with WS.

I agree. This is pretty much what the person who was interviewed about the Missy Beavers case said regarding why more info was not released in that case. Basically, we don't really need to know the specifics and if they do release them it could compromise their case when trial time comes. I'm not ready to call this a cold case.

It was a one time fluke crossing of the paths. He's Hannah's age. He actually thinks the disappearing women are more sinister than the Rhoden murders.

Me neither. Much as I would love to have some updates, I'd love a good, solid arrest even more.

I have a question. Does anyone know as a fact, that CR1 and GR were living at 4077? I've heard they were, that it was considered " the business office", that he was living with Dana as a couple again, does anyone know for sure which one it is? Also did HHG live with FR all the time? Was this considered her home?

We really don't know for certain Chris and Gary both lived at 4077 full time or not. As big as his house was, it could have easily had 3 bedrooms. Usually in a 3 bed 2 bath singlewide they will have two nice sized bedrooms, and one smaller. So they could have easily lived there full time and also used one bedroom for an office.
Since Dana described their relationship as complicated, I think they probably weren't living together, maybe just staying together occasionally. I think Hannah and Frankie had probably lived together for quite a while, since they were both 20 and out of school for a couple of years.

I personally have called it the "business office". Mostly b/c he and DR had reconciled and I felt he'd not have bought her a house otherwise. Also, even if he and GR1 were living there, I'd say that is where any "business" affairs took place. I just don't see them going to DR's, FR's, or even KR's to conduct business. DR and FR had too much to lose, such as their children, to cps if caught, and KR worked a regular job from what I understand, so it would be hard to conduct business there. CR1 and GR did not have steady jobs. CR1 had not worked at Big Bear in a very long time and GR mostly picked up odd farming jobs here and there iirc. Edit: Honestly, I think for GR and CR1, the pot and the cars was their main line of business. I think FR had most of the interest in the dogs and selling the fighting *advertiser censored*, w/ some dealings in the pot as well. I think KR was in w/the cars, and pot too, but had a regular job as well.
