I thought I heard lawyers talk about her that she had died also but I have not found it yet.

If anyone does find anything on the mother having died, would you let me know or post it here, please. :tyou:

I wonder if you may have seen it in one of the video clips we have had and I just missed it.

No, not at all. TOS= terms of service or the “rules”. We have to have links to prove our info we share is true. People who become "verified insiders” don’t need to be as careful and can share personal info of things they hear/know without links. And then we can choose whether to believe or not. Does that help and make sense?
Yes! I thought I was verified but maybe not.

I’m just across the state line in Michigan. Ever hear of Cabela’s here, just off US-23? I can walk there (or I could in my pre-bad knees days). You’re on the list!
Yep! I know the area :)

oh good grief, that’s what I get for doing two things at once and skimming as I copy/paste. I’m the one who posted it! :blushing: Thank you, Bravo.

Fabian also told jurors that in his opinion, something “doesn’t sound right” about Worley’s relationship with his mother, Florence Shepard, who died last year.“Something was missing, or something was awkward, about their relationship,” Fabian said.

Hehee... Chinese is just across M-50 from Cabela’s on the same road. Top-notch!

No worries Spellz. Appreciate all you are doing here.

Are these jury instructions really long, like in the trial portion? Maybe they will go to lunch first, and then have a good solid bulk of time to deliberate. We could get a sentence today. I sure hope so. The family needs time to let loose of all this stress/anxiety of daily waiting and wondering.

thinking of the family now, and wanting to wrap them ALL in warmth and security. Life is forever changed for them. :rose: for Sierah

A couple people asked where I saw the information about his mother.

Glad you mentioned it, as I was going frantically for the last 24 hours trying to find this. And like a dunce, I posted it and glanced right over what I wanted. Takes me more than one brain these days. :giggle:

we lost internet again for about 10 minutes ... darned wind better not interfere with me being here when we get the decision. That would make me :hoppingmad:

you all cover the fort.

I hear ya Spellz. I have lost internet 3 times so far. Wind is horrible!!! Guess I cant blame our socialistic cable provider. This time lol

I really hope it twisted the proverbial knife in JW to hear multiple people talk about how inadequate and dysfunctional he is. Especially the inadequate part. I liked that phrasing. He seems to express thoughts of thinking pretty highly of himself rather than realizing he was a messed up weirdo.

I'm betting it made him extremely angry. And that makes me extremely happy.

My heart goes out to Sierah's family and loved ones. Breaks my heart that they have had to endure all this. They should be excited for her college graduation right now...NOT anxiously waiting to hear her murderer's fate! No amount of "Justice" will ever bring their angel back! I shed tears for the world's loss, as well...because Sierah had a lot to offer!

What strength it must have taken for those who had to be in the courtroom w that devil. As peaceful natured as I am....I can absolutely assure you that I could not have contained myself!

I'm so grateful for all of you.

There was nothing I could give any merit to in making a decision. Seems to be very pro-death from where I sit. Will the jury agree? I am torn, since I do believe he deserves death penalty but do not want the family to have to deal with him (in inevitable appeals) any longer.

I'll be hanging here all day. Waiting. Me and the Grand-doggy. Hubby is in the greater Toronto area in meetings all day. Typically I go cuz I love the shopping. Today. Nope. I want/need to be here. I think the winds are worse up that way and I would blow away. Thinking of the Jurors. Emotional toll on them as well.

I graduated in 1980 from Swanton and lived there through 1985 then moved to Toledo. I think one news peice mentioned he had a college education? Where? We had lots of bonfires in the country and would bet he was creeping around. So tomorrow could be the day.

I bet you know my parents. They graduated from Swanton a little before you.

What year did he move out of Swanton? That could make him closer to the Hill case, correct?

Morning update. This lawyer has nothing good to say about his client ... I’m not sure I have ever heard a lawyer be so honest. Hopefully, he did what he had to and there will be no appeals.

"If Dr. Fabian's suspicions are correct that would have twisted his pickle beyond redemption or reclamation. It would have completely fried his brain," said Berling. [defense lawyer]
He told the jury there's one thing that bugs and haunts him about this case: the DNA found under Sierah Joughin's nails. He said it wasn't Worley's.
"What I'm saying is what haunts me is I think that maybe there was an accomplice. I really do. You can not dig a hole that deep through clay in a three hour period and do all the things that were done," said Berling
