Without NS's contributions, we would know very little about who Sherilyn and Bobby were as human beings. The sensational stuff like "demons on the roof" and the "hate letter" would be pretty much all we'd have to go on, so her input has been of tremendous value to me.

I'm not sure if or how well the Jamisons' computers were checked out by LE. Seems like a no-brainer that any missing person's computer is potentially a valuable source of info and worth checking thoroughly. NS has one of them now, given to her by Star, and was asking for help to figure out what was on it not too long ago. Kinda bummed that I'm not more of a "techie" so I could offer to help, because I'm not far away and would absolutely love to see what info is in there.

OkieGranny, I say we find you a "techie" crash course and then have you delve into the Jamison computer..lol.. I would dare say that even tho, it may not hold the actual answers to what happened to them, but you know the info it does hold would still be a treasure trove in terms of learning more about the Jamisons..and possibly what was going on in those months leading up to the disappearance..

Did Bobby Dean know he had a bad heart and would not be around long? Everything I have read seemed to indicate he wasn't in a capable condition but here this is only 6 months before they went missing. Did his health deterioate that quickly?
If there was a substantial amount of money in that satchel do you folks think she would have left in the truck when they went out or carried it with her?
There are so many questions, important questions, left unanswered that I think it would be irresponsible for LE to declare a death by natural causes. They said they were waiting on the ME but isn't his determination going to be limited by the condition of the bodies? Would he be able to detect fatal soft tissue wounds?

I believe this is a page from the statement given to LE by DC, the neighbor on Panola Mountain who said he saw and spoke with the Jamisons both days they were up there. Grabbed the clearest screen shot I could off the OETA video and was able to transcribe some but not all of it, and now my eyeballs are spinning in my head. Can anyone please help fill in the blanks?

Me to . I had a plan to fix it.

I stuck the photo into windows paint and made it a tiny bit bigger and then printed it .. except I was low on ink so I still cant read it but my plan was to trace over the letters after that ,maybe someone else could try that?The part where I still had some ink looks readable.

Sorry to jump in..the driver of the red car that was behind the Jamison's truck when coming up the mountain road is named on the paper along with the drivers phone number..

Here's the little bit I deciphered on that info..

As I was ___ to my neighbor, AD had alot on her as her husband T** was in the Latimer County hospital. Directly behind the white truck was BD(+phone number). The white truck was traveling very slow, the reason I noticed it was the oilfield people drive excessive speeds. Most of our houses are close to the road, all of the property facing ___ has a bluff on it overlooking the valley. He said he also saw the red car behind him and me on the 4 wheeler.

BD is the initials of the driver of the red car(+ it lists her phone number).. The initials AD is the man's neighbor who is giving the statement.. AD's husband, T** was in the Latimer Co. Hospital at the time, according to the guy giving the statement.

It would be strange to me if their murders were committed at the camp, since that would seem to be a relatively visited area in those hills, and their remains would be found by a camper sooner than if just dumped in the trackless woods.

I agree with you that it would be riskier to murder them at the camp than on the trail further in the woods, and I'm only stating that it is a possibility because that is where they were found. It would seem even risker to murder them elsewhere then load them into a vehicle and bring them to the camp and dump them. So if they had been murdered elsewhere, I believe that they would have been left there. I also believe that if they were murdered, it was by a stranger and that such a stranger would probably have formed the intent to murder them after they were in his vehicle. What seems to me to be a logical way this could happen would be if the stranger saw them looking around at the well site and offered to show them around possibly with no ill intent at that moment. The stranger might have driven them along the trail and offered to show them the popular campsite. If along the way or even at the campsite itself the Jamisons purposely or accidentally revealed that they were carrying cash, the stranger might have taken the opportunity to kill them to steal their money while stopped at the campsite. Unless the Jamisons were carrying or claimed to be carrying a lot of cash while with the stranger I don't think that this scenario is likely to have occurred. I wish we could figure out how much cash they were actually carrying or even received from their alleged PI award and land sale. I suspect that the $32,000 in the truck is all that they had, and they weren't killed for it because it was left in the truck.

I don't know about any consensus but I have 2 very distinct impressions of NS, (1) Wow she does this like its her job (literally) and (2) She wears her heart on her sleeve but absolute genuine concern for her friend and her friends family. I find her input and the FTJ website extremely interesting either way

A friend of mine I went to school with k-12, who was also a FB friend committed suicide a while back. As soon as we all heard we searched her FB to look for anything we might have missed and we all found ourselves looking at a post she made 7 months prior to her suicide that said she was looking forward to spending "ONE LAST" birthday with her husband.

I could be wrong, but the choice of words stuck out, could be a coincidence though.

The post sounded to me like NS herself had been very ill. Maybe not suicide, maybe has a condition she's not speaking about.

Just had a "duh" moment and finally realized that one of the interior photos of the truck is sideways. Here it is right side up:

Now it makes a little more sense. The unzipped soft-sided blue cooler is sitting upright instead of on its side. It supposedly had melted ice in it that the dog was able to drink. And possibly a package of hot dog wieners. I'm just... not clear on that.

That's how I took it.. That the guy giving the statement named the driver of the red car(ie.the car driving behind the Jamison's white truck) as B.D. I'm using initials, but in the statement the actual full name is given along with a full phone number for B.D.as well(area code+phone number immediately follows the name)..

The friend at one point explained it away as being the Jamisons having fun at the minister's expense, a joke they played on him.

The issue itself first saw the light of public day in the 02 May 2010 Sunday Oklahoman article linked in the OP.

After the story was published, at various times on these threads the issue has been discussed.

It's always worth reviving though as it's a very interesting aspect of the case.

Also there's been discussion on the threads about what brands of religion seemed to attract the family.

In speaking about the whole spirits and demons issue I thought maybe the official notes of LE may be helpful to any who are wanting to look at what was said.. Below is the words written by LE detailing what pastor, Gary Brandon told LE about what he was told directly by Bobby and Sherilyn..

Sherilyn wrote Gary a note that they had been under a lot of oppression-(Gary)met with Bobby and Sherilyn at a restaurant in Eufala. "Vineyard" religion Sherilyn was connected to them. Sheri had gold piece through cheek that meant that she was gifted and could cast out demons. 3-4 demon spirits coming to and materializing at house named, Michael-child, a female-child Emily, and her sister that had died 2 years prior had been coming to see Madyson. Bobby said between 2-4am spirits walking on the roof. Oct 2-3 last time he saw them. Bobby on phone trying to find special bullets. Reading the Satanic bible for natural remedies.
