So I called the FBI to see if they could tell me more about the check stubs, let's just say he was less than helpful. First he wouldn't talk to me, but said that he would give the information to Star, so Star calls him, and he's not sure he has to look it up. I eat, sleep, and breathe this case... Don't get me wrong I am sure they have more cases than just this one, but let's face it here... The current doing nothing thing isn't going so well. I can only hope that I have this completly wrong and maybe they have some super secret search going on and they are just with holding information to protect the case... But I am not getting that tight lipped feeling, more the I can't remember and I am just too lazy to look it up feeling. I will quit now before I get carried away.

Mtrooper....I don't post very often on this thread but I do follow it as much as I possibly can. Thank you for all you are doing to try to find this family.

I was going to begin another of my rants against Oklahoma LE but figure I'd better bite my tongue....I've expressed my extreme disbelief in their abilities on the Joe Neff murder thread in the Crimes in the News section numerous times. I have also written numerous letters to LE officials and state representatives pleading for attention to his case. (This has served in only increasing my blood pressure!)

It looks like the only chance of solving this disappearance lies with you and the sleuths here. LE sure aren't doing their jobs in Oklahoma.

So they don't get any money up front, like when a person leases out an apartment (security deposit + 1 months rent)? They have to wait for their money.

Thank you.

Generally the landowner can lease, or sell, the surface rights to the oil company. After the well is drilled and producing the owners of the mineral rights recieve royalty checks according to what percent of the mineral rights they own. You can get money up front before a well is drilled though by selling part, or all, of your share of the mineral rights.

You can also add the case of the two young girls who were shot and killed on a rural road in Weleetka, OK two years ago.

Yes, hannahsnana...that case breaks my heart as well...those poor adorable girls....

Off-topic, yet on-topic!
OK unsolved: a (partial) list

* Girl Scout triple homicide (Locust Grove 1977)
* Freeman/Bible kidnapping + double homicide (rural Welch 1999)
* Denney double homicide (Cherokee County 2007)
* Huls double homicide (rural Welch 2008)
* Whittaker/Paschal double homicide (rural Weleetka 2008)
* Joe Neff murder (Poteau 2009)
* Pastor Carol Daniels murder (Anadarko 2009)
* Jody Rilee-Wilson murder (Heavener 2009)

The failure to solve the Jamisons's disappearance fits a pattern of OK LE's inability to solve serious crime.

I really wish we could get some more press on this. Where are you Nancy Grace?

I really think OK LE solved the Girl Scout triple homicide. Have you read the book "Someone Cry for the Children?" It makes a pretty compelling case that Hart was in fact guilty, they just couldn't obtain enough evidence.

But since you're going back that far, don't forget also:

*the Orbach murders (OKC 1982)
*Charlotte Kinsey and Cinda Pallett (missing from State Fair in OKC, 1982)

I think there are a couple more, they're just slipping my mind right now.

Yes, there are many more - a home invasion murder last year near Wyandotte, not far from me, and a double homicide in the 1990s in rural Grove, to name just a couple.

(And yes, I have read "Someone Cry for the Children." I was in the area when Hart was named a suspect and then was arrested and tried and found not guilty. I have never believed Gene Leroy Hart committed the crimes - he was, to me, merely "a convenient Indian." Hart's trial could have been delayed indefinitely in order for LE to find more "evidence"; after all, he was in custody and already serving a huge sentence for another crime. Instead, there was a rush to judgement which backfired on OSBI, and thus began their fall from grace in the eyes of the public.)

It's hugely depressing to think that, if the Jamisons are deceased, that would add up to a body count of 16 people in eight unsolved crimes over the last 10 years.

Spoke with the Sheriff, they have not done any more interviews yet....but they plan to. Does anyone know of a GOOD reverse phone number look up site? I have a couple numbers from their cell phone bill that I have not been able to identify. I have googling the numbers, anywho, white pages. Any suggestions?

Gosh, mtrooper, I don't know of any that are the "best." Some have said this is a good site to try: www.spokeo.com.

If you would like me to help look, PM the numbers to me. I need some new leads.

Here's another good one: www.pipl.com.

Ok, so after searching and searching I just called the number. Its disconnected. So can anyone tell me if it would be against WS terms of service to post it on here? If so I will PM it.

I never would have thought of doing that, mtrooper. Daring...I must say.

I guess I just got to the point where I thought...what do I have to lose? Anyone know if that would violate TOS to post the number on here?

Couldn't find the answer specifically though it might appear to fall under invasion of privacy, even given the circumstances of that particular phone number. I would think that posting any phone number other than one connected with calling in information to LE or to other organizations concerned with resolving cases, would be frowned upon.

But what do I know. I'd say contacting a mod or an admin would be a good idea.

:( I'm pretty sure it would violate TOS mtrooper (something along the lines of posting identifying info on anyone who is not an official suspect). Have you tried googling that number? (also any numbers belonging to the Jamesons)

I have been able to identify most of the numbers. I am focusing on the ones that were made in the 4 days prior to them going missing. I think there are only 3 or 4 I haven't positively identified.

Are these cell numbers or land lines?
