This is my theory.

A jealous fight broke out that night and someone or someones hit Noah in the head with a golf club and/or butt of a firearm, which killed him.

They then ran over him with the ATV, causing the other catastrophic injuries, and dumped him by the side of the road hoping it would be deemed a hit and run.

Any thoughts?

I don’t think there was any crime at all.

I think he was drunk and went for a walk after that ATV accident. He may have had internal injuries from the rollover, or the alcohol alone got him. He passes out in the road, and is then hit by a large vehicle.

He wasn’t wearing clothes at the time, so the person who hit him may have thought they ran over a deer or something.

That explains the broken teeth, the scalp injury, the road rash, etc.

Except. The authorities have pretty definitively said it was not a hit and run.

All due respect, but in the few days since I first learned about this case, I have been obsessively educating myself on it.

Supposedly after the ATV accident he was so drunk he had to be "given" a shower to clean himself off, and after the shower he asked to sleep in the host's bed and she said no and that made him angry so he went for a walk.

So within a what, 30-minute period at most? he was 1) too drunk to take a shower by himself and yet 2) sober enough to walk a mile to be hit by a vehicle.

Doesn't add up to me.

On top of that, Noah's family, who seem to be pretty straight-up people to me, have said that there have been vastly conflicting accounts from the other people present that night.

And I have seen some of those contradictory statements myself.

It's not a hit and run with this scenario, and you're correct in that the injuries absolutely do not support a hit and run. Laying in the road and being hit by an unsuspecting driver, is not the definition of a hit and run. Typically victims are standing, and the driver knows what they did.

I’ve followed this from the very first post here. I’ve read the autopsy report, the witness accounts, viewed that social media garbage, and listened to multiple pathologists who have described similar scenarios to what I described.

A murder makes no sense, while an accident makes a great deal of sense.

This has become a social media cesspool of rumors, and I think it’s horrific that innocent people are being accused of committing a crime that there’s no evidence even occurred.

A bunch of drunken kids who had no idea what was going on at the time.

I’ve been to these parties, I’ve thrown these parties, and you could ask 10 people at one of them about a specific event, and none of them would give the same story.

I don’t find any of that the least bit unusual.

I totally believe that he tried to get into bed with that girl, and got mad when she told him no. He goes for a walk, wearing different clothes thanks to the atv accident, and different shoes because he couldn’t find his (I’ve done the shoe thing myself),

Then the scenario I described above occurred.

If there was a fight, someone would have talked. If there was a coverup, these drunken teens couldn’t pull that off without giving themselves away.

And those injuries all look like what a vehicle would do, and not some absolutely insane beating.

And yet. He was found naked. Not in those different clothes.

But the shoes were still on his feet. So...he was hit with a large vehicle that removed his clothes yet left the shoes on his feet intact?

He was drunk, and maybe he was waving the shorts around or something. Maybe they were loose, and slid off when he was being dragged. It's not a dealbreaker for me. If you're staging an accident, you make sure he's fully dressed, so in a way it helps the argument that it wasn't murder.

If he was wearing the shorts, they could have slid off without removing his shoes, anyway.

Noah Presgrove and his autopsy report keep me awake at night.
I don't believe he was beaten to death by his friends and I don't believe he was hurt severely in the ATV/side by side tip over.
Like @MassGuy said I don't see 9 people, who were there after 3am, keeping a secret this long.
I thought I'd read on the very beginning that Noah took off down the driveway nude, wearing 2 different shoes, to go cool off after the argument with the party host over sleeping arrangements.

My only theory is that the cross country runner in Noah did walk to the Highway 81 in the direction home. Nearby there is a casino that is open 24 hrs a day 7 days a week. Being such a small town or rural area I feel like another local leaving the casino saw Noah walking down the dark desolate highway and pulled over and hollared at the drunk teen to hop in the back of a pickup to give Noah a ride to town or home.
Whether Noah was completely inside the bed of the truck or not the driver wasn't really aware. If Noah was standing on the back bumper or sitting on the tailgate and the wind of the truck picking up speed caused him to fall from the back of the pickup truck and strike his head on the asphalt first would have caused the skull fracture, huge gash and the patch of his hair ripped from the skull. Breaking his C-1 and C-2 caused the internal decapitation which killed Noah instantly. The driver of the pickup truck was possibly inebriated after leaving the casino at 3:30am and didn't realize that the teen fell from the back of the pickup truck, until he got some city lights or reached his drop off point. No one saw anything and there's no CCTV showing the driver stop to help Noah so nothing has been said. Heck the driver may not even be a local. IMO MOO

It’s entirely possible that things are being left out, and/or people are lying about certain things. But there are reasons to do that, that aren’t because you’re covering up a murder.

I just find this whole thing so relatable, and nothing that’s gone on (rumors, differing accounts, etc), strikes me as an indication of nefarious activity. It’s something I’d expect, especially when you’re talking about young people in a relatively small community.

A murder scenario requires me to take an uncomfortable amount of leaps, while an accident I can easily envision happening.

If you’re doing your due diligence, you can’t come out and take the heat off, as you could be sabotaging any potential case.

It’s just the unfortunate reality.
 
Well, having listened to a few more podcasts featuring experts whose opinions I respect, I'm sticking to my theory.

I completely get that a bunch of drunk kids could have conflicting stories about that night, but when they can't even agree on how Noah got to the party, that's a red flag.

And as far as I've been able to ascertain, there have been zero accounts from anyone else who was in the ATV during the supposed rollover crash.

Not to mention that Noah's so-called friends, including his best friend Jack, seem oddly incurious with regard to how he died.

You'd think his best friend would be demanding that LE find out what happened to Noah.

To be clear, I am not accusing anyone of anything beyond behavior that seems odd and counterintuitive considering the circumstances.
 
I keep seeing this case pop up with new posts so got curious of course. What an utterly sad story.

Does anyone know who the guy/friend with the rifle is in this pic with Noah from the article? And yes sorry it's the DM!

I know likely commonplace to carry guns around in some smaller rural communities, but when so intoxicated it seems frightening to me! Not to mention the butt of a gun might measure something similar to the autopsy report/wound to his head that might also crack those back teeth.
