I believe I read this morning that the photo taken by his stepmom next to his project was the only photo he was in, this after LE went through all the photos/videos the other parents had brought in for them to look at. Let me see if I can find the quote....

eta: I was wrong. This says it was the last photo taken of Kyron.

Exactly, to me the statement of the LAST photo taken implies that there were definitely others. Perhaps ones that SM decided not to post, ones taken by the teacher or other parents. To me, it seems as if they may have been among the last to leave his room to go to other rooms, as only one other parent/child can be seen in the background of the photo. It is clear that the friend and any of his family have left the area of that display already. So far, at least, there is really nothing in the step mom's account of the morning that does not match up to the school timeline or the accounts of the other parents, some of whom know that they saw him in other classrooms with his mom that morning.

But it also tells that Kyron was not in any photos or videos after that time.

They should search his home, where he goes and plays, where he rides his bike. JMO

They have, there was a statement by LE that no one had refused access to searching of their homes or properties. If they were searching neighbors homes, I am sure they have been more than thorough in doing so at his own home.

Hallo All,

I sure had wished that we would have learned that Kyron had been found before now :(

In the meanwhile, last evening I went to school thinking about the railroad tracks. [ame="http://www.websleuths.com/forums/showpost.php?p=5252329&postcount=150"]One of our good posters let us see where those were.[/ame]
After digging up the map offered to us by freefallzzzz, I wondered just how far open train tracks actually were.

Today...in looking, it seems that it would have been a long walk for a little guy. Last night I had wondered, if they were close enough, what was the possibility that trains travel those tracks, then stop and pause long enough before continuing and long enough for a curious child to hop on a flat car or into a box car etc.

When I was a very young child, the whole thought of jumping on a train seemed fun to me (I would see others -- adults "hobos" -- doing it). Of course, there could have been other fun things that an adventuresome child might want to try... Kyron was noted as shy, but he was also noted as adventuresome.

I keep tossing around a fear of performing in the talent show (at 1PM, I believe we have seen in one news article, he was to perform). Might he have headed out thinking...I'll just hide in the back seat of that car (or back of that truck) and then when it stops, I'll run away, or go to the railroad tracks, or go down into the boiler room (someone commented something about a boiler room on a newspaper's site). I am fearful that he might have headed somewhere to kinda hide out, not thinking about how he would get out of the place where he was hiding safely (a walk in refrigerator in the cafeteria or in a storeroom?)

IF and IF he did choose to daydream an escape...he could be wondering in any distant place now, far far from the school.

I certainly hope Kyron is found safely, alive and well. Kids can be dreamers -- perhaps he dreamed an escape and adventure. I think that a number of our posters suggested talking to Kyron's teen step brother, good idea -- perhaps he or other good friends of Kyron's could tell us things that he mused about or dreamed about, and maybe he acted on something similar that day.

Either way...anyone that had a vehicle at that school that day, one in which a child could have jumped into a camper, or tool box in the back of a pickup, or backseat of a car or van, or into a delivery truck should be looking over their vehicle...any signs that a child stowed away for a bit?

Well, hang on. Yesterday I was digging around their website and saw 8th grade stuff... now I'm seeing k-7.

Let me look some more.

Ok will patiently wait....

Now im wondering if some older kids new Kyron might have had help in his project (lets say by his parents) and were taunting him about it??

I wonder why LE would not confirm or deny anything about whether or not there was an appointment of any kind. IF he was seen waiting by a door, that makes me think there could have been one or he thought there was one and he was waiting for a ride. Why would LE just not shoot this down last night if there was no possibility of an appointment being n the mix?

But it also tells that Kyron was not in any photos or videos after that time.

Yes, but I guess to me this makes complete sense, I personally don't like to take pictures when a lot of chaos is going on in the background. So I would wait till the room was empty and try to get a good picture or two with ONLY my kid in the frame. I have actually done this before at school events. I take the group shots and friends shots while everyone is around and then do the ones of my kid after the crowd moves on to the next area if possible. While they were touring the other rooms, the other parents had also probably finished up with the photo sessions in those rooms since the parent "tour" time had started. I am just having a hard time with the insinuation of something sinister regarding how, when, and who is in a couple of pictures of a simple science fair display.

My point is there is a child saying he saw Kyron in the late morning when no one else had seen him since earlier that morning. He is not seen in any photos or videos after that photo taken early morning. That leads me to believe he wasn't at the school late morning and couldn't have been seen at that time by a student.

But I could be wrong.....

There was a neighbor interviewed that said he saw a suspicious white van at his deadend at 3pm and then again at 2am. I wonder if they called 911?

"We had two odd sightings of a vehicle on our road Friday," Kelley said. Around 3 p.m., he and a neighbor reported seeing a white pick-up truck with a female driver pull to the end of the long road, idle and then turn around. Then again at 2 a.m. Saturday morning, a similar white pickup truck appeared, idled and when a neighbor loosed her dogs, eased away.

Has anyone sleuthed to find out where this vehicle sighting was? Last name of person in article is Kelley.

I am very intrigued by your photo comparison of Kyron's classroom against photo of Kyron in front of project, Steadfast.....

So if Kyron's project was on display in his ACTUAL classroom, as opposed to a different classroom, doesn't that change the SM timeline?

Didn't she state that she and Kyron visited the classroom where project was on display and then she proceeded to walk him down the hallway to HIS classroom , although not actually walking him all the way INTO the classroom, but instead leaving him in the hallway?

If they were already IN HIS classroom, when and why did they leave the classroom, only to return later?

And just a PS....after seeing the photos of Kyron's schoolwork on your news link, no way Kyron had much involvement in creating his project...

One thing that puzzles me about the picture is -- where is his left arm? It must be bent and twisted way back behind him yet his shoulder and upper arm don't seem distorted at all or pulled to the back. The little bit of white you see under his left sleeve is part of a brochure on the desk.

HMMMM....my assumption on that is coming from the opposite direction. I found the comment to be of interest in that if I were LE, I would track down the person who made the comment and see why they were so intent on directing the accusation toward the mother and teacher. To me, the person making the comment is more of a POI than the ones whom 'he' was trying to implicate.

It's because his shirt is too big for him. The fact that his sleeve is so much bigger than his arm creates the illusion.

Has anyone sleuthed to find out where this vehicle sighting was? Last name of person in article is Kelley.
1:29 p.m. -- Neighbors stop by Brooks Hill Historic church, across the street from the school, to mull over the investigation. "This kind of thing is unheard of," says Jim Kelley, 50.

Kelley, who lives about a mile and a half down hill, at the end of a winding, secluded country lane off Cornelius Pass, said police, federal agents, K-9 teams and helicopters scoured the area Saturday.

"A, it was strange to have a car there, any car there, that we didn't know, and B, it was strange to have a vehicle come down our dead-end road twice in the same day, hours after a little boy goes missing," said Kelley. "That's beyond rare."

Kelley said authorities have twice searched the deep ravine, creek and railroad tracks located near the end of his street by air and on foot.
