Who is leaving these stockpiles? And how does Burham know where to find them? It's not like he had a cellphone when he escaped from jail (unless someone smuggled one in) so how would he know where to find the supplies? Unless all of this was planned in advance?

This was a stockpile from his previous episode when he was hiding out because he knew there was a warrant out for him. Almost all of the information supplied to us at the press conferences before he was captured has been dismissed. That includes the ring doorbell, stock pile, drone ...

The now notorious Michael Burham, captured Saturday evening after a 9-day-manhunt, is one of 720 local, state and federal prisoners currently housed at the Erie County Prison. After a physical and psychological evaluation, he was placed in restricted housing.

We asked, "Has there ever been an escape from this facility?" The answer from the warden, "No ma'am."

Warden Sutter said the physical examination showed that Michael Burham was not injured, and was not limping as some authorities had speculated. He may be stepped down to a different classification as the prison's special review committee continues to evaluate him, Sutter said.

The Warren County District Attorney, Robert Greene, announced Tuesday he has received information that could possibly implicate staff members and inmates at the Warren County Jail.

Greene said staff members could be held criminally liable if they were found to be negligent in their duties. At this time, no one has been charged in the escape case other than Burham.

He added because he is on the Warren County Prison Board, he is recusing himself from the escape case and asked the state Attorney General to take the case.

Burham’s preliminary hearing in Warren County is scheduled for 10 a.m. It pertains to his escape from a Pennsylvania prison, where he’s been held since mid-July following nine days on the run.

Since being brought back into custody, Burham is under watch 24 hours a day, with Erie County, Pennsylvania Executive Brenton Davis saying there’s “zero chance” he’ll get out this time.

District Judge Raymond Zydonik ruled during Monday’s preliminary hearings there was enough evidence to forward both cases against Michael Burham to the Court of Common Pleas.

Burham, arrested May 24 in South Carolina, was initially charged with kidnapping, unlawful restraint, false imprisonment, assault, terroristic threats, theft, burglary, and many other counts. District Attorney Rob Greene brought additional charges Monday in that case including four more kidnapping counts, The (Warren) Times Observer reported.

Burham also faces more charges stemming from the July 6 escape ...

Deputy Attorney General Heather Serrano alleged in bringing another criminal conspiracy count that Burham “conspired with another inmate” or other inmates to escape from the county jail. Public Defender Kord Kinney unsuccessfully argued there was no evidence of a conspiracy beyond Burham’s possession of more bedsheets than he was assigned.

Schmidt stressed that all involved have cooperated with the review, including an internal review of the events leading up to Burham’s escape.

“Because they relate directly to the security of the facility and the safety of the public, this document and the specific recommendations must remain confidential,” Schmidt said. “The prison board has commenced and continues to conduct a meticulous and complete internal review of the event. The internal investigation has established a timeline of events and a cause and effect analysis of the escape. Michael Burham, the alleged rapist and arsonist also suspected in the Jamestown death of 34-year-old Kala Hodgkin this past May, is set to be arraigned on charges stemming from his alleged crimes south of New York.

Burham has been accused of numerous crimes after authorities say he kidnapped an elderly couple at gunpoint and later escaped from a Warren County, Pennsylvania prison. Documents from the Court of Common Pleas of Warren County (PA) say Burham is set to be formally arraigned Thursday morning in both cases — the escape and the alleged kidnapping.
