From the presser:
  • LE was acting on a tip - a resident's dog was barking, resident went outside to see why and actually had a brief conversation with MB and recognized who he was.
  • A large perimeter was set up.
  • They tracked MB using K-9's.
  • As MB approached one of the perimeters, he attempted to hide.
  • No one was hurt.
  • MB will not be going to the Warren Jail.
  • They are still determining where he will go.
  • Bivens said MB looks dirty, worn out, and is still wearing his prison pants, turned inside-out.
  • MB didn't have anything in his possession.
  • There was ammunition found in one or more of the bags they found.

Michael Burham, the inmate who escaped from Warren County Jail on July 6, has been taken into custody, police have confirmed to The Post-Journal.

Burham was apprehended Saturday evening off Jackson Run Road in Warren County following a citizen tip.

Thank goodness !!!!!!

So sorry about his son and prob. soon to be ex-wife ?
The way he questioned him as if the teen was at fault.
Hopefully they can resume their lives and feel safer !

This never should have happened in the first place, given how dangerous he'd already proved himself to be; and if it was an inside job, heads need to figuratively roll.
My .02 only.

Pennsylvania State Police Lt. Col. George Bivens said in a press conference Saturday that he received a tip at around 3:57 p.m. ET about a suspicious individual at a residence in northwestern Pennsylvania and the owner discovered Burham on his property after his dog had been barking at someone. The owner had a brief conversation with Burham and asked why he was there who then allegedly said "something about camping," according to Bivens.

The owner recognized Burham, quickly got himself and his wife back into a golf cart and drove to safety and Burham ran into the woods, Bivens said.

Burham was in police custody by 5:55 p.m. and had been tracked through the woods and encountered troopers, Bivens said. Burham tried to hide and was tracked from behind by a combination of law enforcement including U.S Marshalls, NY State Police and Customs and Boarder Protection.

He was taken into custody at gunpoint, police said.

GOOD BOY, TUCKER! 1689478079583.png

There's video of LE walking MB to the patrol car at the link below. I still can't tell if he's limping.

They should send them the Alcatraz just saying

Bivens said MB didn't have anything with him when captured. Did they recover the backpack somewhere else?

And @Mama-dukes, Tucker's getting a steak dinner! :p

Ron and Cindy said Burham had a backpack with him and started to walk down the creek and back into the woods, where he was captured by police less than two hours later.

They said the real hero is Tucker, who has a big steak dinner in his future.

Tucker should be getting the $19,000 reward (unless it's been increased)....

Nomination form for a hero dog.
