I agree :(. I think we're just waiting for Brad to surface in the river :(.
In all of the searches that they have had, with and without the community volunteers, they seemed to have searched only within miles of where Brad was last seen. It's been over 2 weeks IMO, he may surface somewhere in the Delaware River by now. Which leads me to my next thought, has anyone heard of searches way down south of the river? I just have this gut feeling after he walked out of Trooper Thorns, he walked to meet up with someone got in a car and left. This of course all IMO

Part of the Thun trail goes over an old railroad bridge which is probably less than a mile from Trooper Thorns . I would say the bridge is about 75 feet above the river if not more. Walked the trail and looked down and was surprised how shallow the water is there. No way a person could survive a fall from that high up in such shallow water IMO. The trail is busy during the days but after sunset on a weeknight nobody would've been walking at that time.

It haven't read anywhere from LE, family, etc confirming he definitely jumped off a bridge into the water. All LE said in the Reading Eagle was they found a shoe possibly belonging to Brad. But again, has not been confirmed. IMO, I feel as tho everyone is being tight lipped about this case. I just don't think he committed suicide..otherwise why wouldn't there be searches down south of the river?

I did run into a search group who were searching downriver. The only reason I speculate it might have been suicide has to do with the medication/benzos and how that might have played a role in all of this. Just reading through some of the posts on this thread gives you an idea of how tough it is to kick these things.

I have read them, thank you. I've been in the Pharmaceutical business for 10 years, working at different rehab facilities which makes me speculate, but neither of us have Brads medical records! Let's just respect Brad and hope for the best!!

My husband bikes a lot in that area and he has said all along that the water is not deep enough to hide someone for long. I still feel in my gut that he met up with someone by the way he was walking so fast leaving the bar. Just my opinion, I hope there is some news soon. The river there is not like a big river in say Pittsburgh. The flow is not very fast.

Bumping for Brad. I haven't seen any updates or news articles about his disappearance in awhile. I did see a comment that the family is still concentrating on the river and trail behind Truper Thorns. I pray they find closure one way or another.

Bumping....where are you Brad?!

I think there's a high probability this is Brad based on location. I hope the family finally gets some closure.

It's not Brad is what wfmz.com is saying in an updated article. It's a 50 to 60 year old man. The kayakers were searching for Brad but found this person in the river. I don't know how to link the article. If someone can I appreciate it.

I think the article Richrd posted earlier has just been updated:

"According to police, the kayakers were searching for 26-year-old Bradley Verret who was last seen near Trooper Thorn's restaurant in Reading just over a month ago.

Police say the body does not match the description of Verret.

They say the victim is likely a white male in his mid to late 50s or early 60s.

No identification has been made."

Brad's sister is also confirming on her FB that it is not him.

Sad for the family whose relative this is, though :(.

IMO, I really honestly do not think he's in that river at all. I think with all pressure from his family and the tapering of medication(s), it got to be too much for him and he left. Again, this is all IMOO!

There is a Bring Brad Verret Home face book page. There is a big search in the river planned for tomorrow and a walking search too. Hope they find some answers.
