*Motion In Limine Hearing (@ 9am ET) – PA – Conner Snyder (8) & Brinley L. Snyder (4) (Sept. 23, 2019, Albany Township; found hanging from basement rafters) - *Lisa Rachelle Snyder (36/now 41) “mom” arrested (12/2/19), charged (12/9/19) & arraigned (3/12/20) with 2 counts of 1st degree murder, 2 counts of 3rd degree murder, 1 count of tampering with or fabricating evidence, 2 counts of endangering the welfare of children, 1 counts of animal cruelty & 2 counts of sexual intercourse with an animal (with a dog). 9/2/21: Animal cruelty & sex with dog severed from original charges. Plead not guilty. Held without bond. DA will seek DP.
Trial was set to begin on 3/4/24 was cancelled & now set as
Bench Trail set to begin on 9/16/24 waiver of jury trial.

2/7/24 Update: Due to defense’s motion to appeal decision, Call of the list hearing was cancelled as was trial on 3/4/24. 3/25/24 Docket update: Supreme Court of PA Middle District Order: Application for extraordinary relief is DENIED. 3/27/24 Docket update: Next status hearing on 4/9/24 @ 9am.
4/9/24 Docket update: Order scheduling non-jury trial on 916/24 & Motions in Limine hearing on 6/28/24. 4/10/24 Docket update: Waiver of Jury trial.

No wonder this disgusting freak of a so called 'mom' is having a bench trial. Doesn't want her dirty deeds to come to light. She hung her own children and abused her dog. My mind cannot go there, but she's DP material if I ever saw it.

Poor babies, all of them.

Whatever went before the Appellate level for "extraordinary relief" after Judge Johnson refused the defendant's plea agreement is sealed.
However, all we know is the Supreme Court Denied the Application on March 25, 2024.

Since the ruling, it appears whatever was denied resulted in moving forward with a non-jury trial!

And looks like a bench trial is Ordered for 9/16/24.

I presume Judge Theresa Johnson will be presiding over this trial but I guess we will more learn later.

Only MSM I've been able to find confirming Lisa Snyder's motion for extraordinary relief has been denied by the Pennsylvania Supreme Court, and defendant's request for bench trial... Now that it made the docket, I expect it's scheduled to happen in September.

The latest motion filed by a Berks County mother charged with the murder of her two children has been rejected.

Online court records also indicate that Snyder filed a waiver of a jury trial in favor of a bench trial, which is scheduled to begin September 16, 2024.

Snyder is charged in the deaths of two of her children, eight-year-old Conner and four-year-old Brinley.

Both were found hanging in the basement of their Albany Township home in 2019.
