Didn't Kortne's aunt say that she and BF were saving to buy a house? BF was at his parents or elsewhere that weekend, and his dog was at Kortne's apartment until BF's father picked the dog up on Monday. I have always been under the impression that Kortne and BF lived together at that apartment, but could be off base.

Where are you, Kortne???

Pennlive article from this morning. A lot of excellent updates about neighbors and boyfriend:

"Stouffer said his daughter lived with her boyfriend who was on house arrest and probation for driving under the influence of alcohol and drugs while underage. On Saturday, July 28, just hours before she disappeared, there was a gathering at their second-floor apartment, and beer. When a probation officer showed up, her boyfriend was arrested. He ended up spending about a week in prison, Lebanon County court records show. According to Stouffer, his daughter believed the probation violation would trigger a long jail sentence. She became angry at her neighbors, who she thought called police about the party."

On the Saturday night before she disappeared, Kortne parked her car at a gas station before traveling to Harrisburg with friends in a different vehicle. The friend who returned home with her was a designated driver of another friend’s vehicle, and they dropped that friend off in Palmyra before returning to Kortne’s.

Police have executed a search warrant of the vehicle of the friend who was dropped off, as well as of Kortne’s 2002 Ford Focus and her apartment. The warrants are sealed.

This new info. leaves me with 2 questions:
1. What time was the party/arrest?
2. Who was at the party?

"Early Sunday morning, when she and a male friend returned to her apartment, they saw several neighbors in the first-floor apartment. Kortne vented her anger at them, her father said.

"In an interview this week, Janice Riemenschneider and Rich Sheetz, who live in the apartment below Kortne’s, said they saw Kortne kick and swing at Todd Saksek, who lives in the other half of the duplex.

"They said Kortne’s friend stepped between them. The neighbors said Kortne’s friend also made hostile remarks toward them. At that point, Riemenschneider and Sheetz said they closed their door and called police."

Maybe Mr. 808 (TS) wasn't exactly snug-a-bug in his bed at 3am?

"Saksek, 44, declined to discuss the night’s events on the advice of a lawyer."

Hmmmm

Intetesting article. The only person Im questioning at this is the person her dad mentions she owes money to. I wondet if he knowd who that person is......

Was this a gas station to get a flat tire repaired or was this The Gas Station bar ( http://thegasstation.us/ )? If so, how did her car get back to the apartment at 810 West Main St. in Palmyra with the keys left inside?

Great catch Unscripted!

It has to be The Gas Station bar. Do we know for sure her car was at the apartment in the am?

Goodness, Kortne was in a wild mood and her anger was directed toward the neighbors specifically, at least at one point, believing they had called police on her boyfriend?

I don't believe the neighbors have anything to do with Kortne's disappearance-more likely comes down to some of her "friends", unless she really did wander off into the night and find trouble once she left.

The earlier MSM reports say that her car keys were found in her car at the apartment. Presumably discovered by her mom on the Monday morning, July 30th?

Wow what a difference a few hours make! This article answers several questions but creates a few new ones too. I added the link to the Timeline/Media thread. Great find!

Just one heck of a night they had there...my head is spinning.
But how does she simply vanish as a result??

And why did it take a month for all of this to come out?

If her car was at the apartment, then who drove it there and when? This is a key piece of information. Why wasn't a follow up question asked by the reporter on this?

Wait a sec...

"According to Kortne’s father and neighbors, Saksek called police after Kortne stomped on her apartment floor in anger. Police said they knocked on both doors but made no contact with Kortne or Saksek, according to Matthew Scott, a Stouffer family friend."

Saksek owns/lives in 808 -- next door -- different house, attached but separate... Kortne kicked and took a swing at Saksek, yet he saw nothing after the altercation? He just slumbered off, but has lawyered up?
