UPDATE:

The body [male] was found "under a tree" and was ruled an accidental death ["fell", not sure if from the tree but probably], family notified. Identity not yet released but I do not believe the case is any relation to LP missing.

There is a new post from her SIL on the evening update on the BCNF fb.

It is so horribly hot. I hope they find her soon

There are lots of winding trails and cliffs and heavy foliage. I can't imagine it could be searched 100 percent in a few days.
I just wonder what proof they have that she was in the park at all

The dogs traced her into the park iirc.

I have not seen that. Only that her car was found there.
I wish they would tell us more

There is a new post from her SIL on the evening update on the BCNF fb.

Given what LP's SIL reported in her BCNF FB page post it is interesting they're still planning searches in the park.... they probably just need to be 'complete'.

Assuming it was LP who deleted her own FB page I expect there were posts / messages containing destination plans and contacts. If that's the case and if there is no legal reason to assume LP should not be accorded adult status (no diminished capacity issues) LE likely will not be able to obtain a warrant for LP's FB page since there is no evidence of a crime (AFAWK), LP is 21 years old, after all.

According to the SIL, LP left her "wallet" at home. Bank / Credit Card accounts? Without a warrant LE may not monitor those but maybe LP's family has access.

If LP did indeed "Google" search the "Carolinas" and "how to change your identity" (read the SIL's post on the BCNF FB page) then LE likely is wasting their time searching the park.

Next steps, if it were possible:

1) search for and interview anyone who was in the park previous to, during and after the time (2:00 PM?) LE believes LP arrived to the park, etc. etc. etc. This should have been automatic shortly after LP's vehicle was located.

2) BOLO in the Carolinas coastal areas... difficult since "identity" is likely altered.

Scarlett, see quoted post below.

Scarlett - this article says her car was found in the "Main parking lot." I am also from the area but don't know Tyler State Park, so I am not sure which one is the main lot.

Lots of info in this Facebook post:

Montco/Bucks Incident Page
Newtown Township: search is being continued this morning at the Tyler Park for a missing woman. Police suspended the search this morning around 2 am but are picking it back up. Source tells us they will be searching the Neshaminy Creek today.
A source involved tells us officials are looking for a 21 year old Bensalem woman who was reported missing Tuesday evening. Family members reported she was emotionally unstable and could be found at either Core Creek or Tyler Parks. Police located her unnattended vehicle in Tyler State Park main parking area Tuesday night. Police and Rangers established a command post and requested fire rescue to respond and assist them with thermal imaging around 10 pm. Search crews established teams and did a grid search. Each team checking the park by quadrants. Two search dogs arrived around midnight. Search teams were then pulled from the woods for a dog to start a track without interference. One of the dogs picked up a scent track on the Tyler Park Trail along Neshaminy Creek but had negative contact with the missing subject. State Park Rangers dismissed rescue crews from the scene shortly after 2 Am Wednesday. Police remained on scene throughout the night with the woman's vehicle. Search crews returned in the morning and continued the search, focusing on the waters of Neshaminy Creek. A Pennsylvania State Police helicopter did a visual search of the creek from south of the Route 332 bridge upstream to the Schofield Covered Bridge as well as fields behind the Bucks County Community College with negative results. Fire department dive teams from Northampton and Lower Southampton placed boats in the water between the main park causeway and wing dam, their search is ongoing as of 2:30 Wednesday afternoon.

When I worked as a Park Ranger I always hated it when I closed up at night and there would be one car left over at some remote lot in the middle of nowhere. I would first make announcements over my cruiser's PA, then if no answer, put on my Take-Down Lights and make an announcement, then hit the siren and make an announcement. I had 1/2 hour to accomplish this. Then, if I still couldn't find the vehicle's occupants, I had to contact my supervisor. I then turned on all my search lights (aircraft landing lights), and would grab my headlight, crack a couple of lightsticks - for the front of my coat and another one on my back (so other Rangers could see me in the woods), and my 3,000,000CP flashlight and start walking the trails. I had an hour to locate the MP's, all the while having to provide updates to my supervisor. If I still couldn't find the MP's, then supervisors and other LE personnel would come out - we'd set up Pelican Lights (very, very high-power), break out the night-vision equipment, get the camera drone in the air, and start walking a grid pattern search and rescue. We had a LOT of people commit suicide there, and many others that would simply have a heart attack, or a stroke, and would die.

From the BCNF FB site regarding the wallet, phone, and dogs that were left behind: "My understanding is she left them behind, like at home, not in the car or on her person.....which is not at all like Lindsey.
I can only speak from working side by side her for approx. 3years, as her manager..never late, very reliable! . The only Lindsey I've ever know is a very together girl! Not a hair out of place let alone leaving 2 things I've not known her to forget, behind! I wouldn't even call her your typical 21 year old! She had a GOOD head on her shoulders, doesn't jump into things irrationally....isn't a wild child, party animal! <snip>Besides the timeline piece of it being critical, as a parent, I would upset if it appeared she was missing for days without anyone reporting! NOT THE CASE!"

I can't help but believe Lindsey left of her own accord and for whatever reason, does not want to be found. According to her SIL, she did google searches for the Carolinas and how to change your identity. It's possible she is not anywhere near the park. I did notice in her photos that she had/has braces. Does she still have them? If so, they'll have to come off at some point by an orthodontist. Maybe notify orthodontists in the Carolinas? Daunting task, but could be done. What on earth could have happened or could she have done that she would want to go far away and have to change her identity? Just some thoughts running through my mind that I haven't seen addressed. The family had said she was emotionally unstable when they saw her last - why have we not seen the parents make the usual public plea for the return of their daughter as any parent of a missing child would do? I can't help but feel there is something else going on here that hasn't been mentioned.
