On the pro-Jodi site they believe that Nurmi made that motion to quit just so she would have a good cause for an appeal later on. She could then say that her own attorneys were not in her corner so she should get a retrial. :eek:

:floorlaugh::floorlaugh::floorlaugh:

Is she drugged??? (sorry if someone else asked this--the feed moves so fast!)

I try hard not to be harsh in my comments, but when you contrast the following scenarios, it is really telling.

Contrast JA's mitigation list with what they could NOT say about jodi:

1. Good daughter, granddaughter, sister;
2. Loving friend to many;
3. Service to others;
4. Good to pets;
5. Unselfish;
6. Honest;
7. Would have been a good wife, mother

Then, Contract JA's mitigating factors with Travis' life traits:

1. Motivational speaker
2. Wonderful brother, son and grandson,
3. Dearly loved friend,
4. Special boyfriend, even to multiple ex-girlfriends,
5. Loved animals as family,
6. Served a two year mission of service, at his own expense,
7. Absolutely improved his life and motivated others to do the same,
8. Served in church callings,
9. Lifted up family and friends with his speaking abilities,
10. Life-loving, fun young man who threw parties for others and included everyone
11. Unselfish;
12. Young, full life ahead;
13. Would have been a wonderful father, husband, and friend.

Just a few, but you get the idea...

Just so telling to me....

I have a feeling this will be the weakest defense ever for a DP penalty phase. Maybe even weaker then the defense yesterday in the aggravation phase.

It will be if she gets up there and talks about her talent as an artist!

I know it's part of our judicial system, but I don't like the fact that the convicted murderer and her friends/family get a chance to plead for leniancy. She didn't show Travis any leniency, none of his friends and family were allowed to plead for his life, so why should JA get to do this?

I know, this is the way it works, but I hate that it happens, because she took it upon herself to end Travis's life without listening to any "mitigating circumstances" being able to be heard, so she shouldn't get any.

1) she was 27 y/oold enough to know better
2)little or no family support Mom helped her move she refused them
3) she's a good friend If her behavior that of friend wouldn't want to be her enemy
4) no legal history allegedly remember rooftop pot farm/possible hinky bank issues
5) suffered abuse/neglect as a childapparently not enough
6) make best of her lifeby sleep'n her way up chain of success?
7) consistently tried to improve herselfsee above
8) talented artistBah talented tracer perhaps

Wen~ YOU ROCK! :rockon:

my comments above in red

Defendant has a crazy look in her eyes. Either she's faking it (Oh I'm crazy), she's about to snap or she's medicated.

The left eye seems particularly lazy today. It must have been up later than the right one last night.

Wild About Trial ‏@WildAboutTrial 17s

Nurmi just confirmed that #JodiArias will take the stand at some point in this penalty phase.

What a joke, huh? :floorlaugh:

the one that really ticks me off is the abuse/neglect allegation bc unless her mother and father were willing to get on the stand and testify during trial to this it's bs imo

Did Nurmi say that the defendant will have a chance to talk to the jury in this phase? (Not his exact words, of course.)

Elizabeth Erwin ‏@elizabetherwin 10s

Jurors will learn more about #JodiArias as a person so they can decide "whose life their terminating or not."

Using guilt I see.

Did Nurmi just imply that Jodi is going to take the stand? :eek:

She's going to speak! :floorlaugh: I thought she WANTED to die! :floorlaugh:
