How do you all go about going back to your post if you've left your computer for 10 minutes and the thread has grown by pages and pages?

Search for your own name. Hit search in the menu, fill in your name and then be sure and check the button "shows posts".

go to he top of you page and click on your name, then select the Stats tab, then all posts by (your name here)

Hello everyone - how horrible to NOT be with you for a good part of the day. Happy WS is back in business.

I watched JA's speech to the jury and it seemed to me that the murderer was interviewing for the position of Miss Arizona. She is vile and disgusting and a cold blooded killer.

Any body care to tell me how they feel JM did and who tied things up for the DT and how did it go?

Missed everything from about 10 minutes after JM started. TIA

I am really surprised to hear that if JA gets life that she could be eligible for parole in 25 years. I thought LWOP meant WITHOUT the possibility of parole?

The hopeful thing is as disgusted as we feel about her presentation today, I'm betting the jury is really really done with her. It's just ordinary common sense that when you are "begging" for your life that you apologize, and that you acknowledge that you are at the mercy of the victims family, the jury, and judge. I wonder if anyone counted the #of me's... No sincerity at all!

no surprise about the shirt idea. imo ja was the one who put ta's name on the front of the tee and the back of those panties she took a pic of before her arrest. she is so creative you know. :stormingmad:

also ja running to the media for more interviews again puts more egg on nurmi's face re: complaints about tv coverage of the case. i also wonder if az news guy (troy) that did the first interview feels used? sure looks like this was a setup. use him for one story then flip it. :moo:

Don't most jail inmates have jobs? Sorry, I'm not a pro on the lives of jail/prison inmates. Hasn't she been in gen pop for the most part among "her people"? I know she's had a few incidents but Otherwise I would think she'd want a job, anything to socially interact with (see: control, manipulate) others. Like mopping the floors or dishing out slop onto their plastic dinner trays. She probably has a whole underground ring of contraband trade going on.

My theory on her locks for love "donation" was she went in for a haircut. They cut it. She complained she couldn't get her foils and highlights or whatever she usually had her boyfriends on the outside pay for. The inmate who was cutting her hair rolled their eyes at her and said, "We participate in Locks for Love, do you want to donate what I just cut to someone in need?" CMJA looks up annoyed and bothered and mutters, "I don't care, whatever." In the last couple of days the mitigation specialist and JA found this hidden gem in CMJA's past and turned it into a soft moment displaying her kind spirit of giving. The end.

I don't know about other states but here in IL most prisoners have jobs. It is pretty much expected and it is an exception if you do not (health reasons, etc). Some are definitely limited in what job they can have due to their demeanor, behavior, level of violence etc.

Thats what it means here in Louisiana...in fact the penalty for 2nd degree is LWOP

What did the mob expect to hear today? I just do not understand what they thought was going to happen. JA is not normal. Her functions and thought process are not like you and I. Why do we keep getting this enormous let down every time she makes a move?

I hear you, but JA's personality/psychopath disorders are why it is so frustrating to listen to her testimony. She pretends the only thing that happened was a single gunshot in self defense. Then she uses the little girl "I don't even kill spiders" comments to pretend the horrific stabbing and near decapitation didn't occur. She does this even after a jury has told her they don't buy any of her story. IMO, the reason people get upset is that it's like finger nails on a chalk board to listen to her justifications and rationalizations. We know she's not normal, but being human we want her to act that way.

Had to get off WS's for a while. I just find it so deeply disturbing that she has the gall to do what she does and continues to get away with it. And it is my honest opinion that she will NEVER STOP trying to villify Travis and victimize his family and it ignites something deep and unfamiliar in me.


However, listening to juror #8 gives me hope (and man do I need it now). If any ONE juror deliberating is as insightful, intelligent and clear about Jodi as he was then she will pay the just price and her re-victimization plans will be ended.

Key words here are "could be" but LWOP means just that. That's a call JSS will make if the jurors come back with a life sentence.

I have a Sis with some sort of mental illness. She is self righteous, awful to those she should love, all kinds of past and current behaviors that just make my head spin. She does not have the capacity to comprehend anything out of her own reality. And she can't help it!!! There is no reasoning with her.
This is how I think Jodi is.
And I don't think it's curable ever.
