Aw geez, where are my manners? Good morning, Websleuthers!

Hope today there's a minimum of drama (!) and that the Alexanders aren't subjected to any more unnecessary delays.

Time to chain the demon seed and traipse her off to her own little circle of h#ll.

It wouldn't surprise me if JA doesn't speak today. I think the delay yesterday had to do with her attorneys asking the judge for time to talk her out of it or at least trying to talk her out of saying certain things. It also wouldn't surprise me if they came in to court today and took back everything they said yesterday and put on family members to testify on her behalf.

Glorious Good Morning, Sleuthers! What kind of morning has it been today? The kind of morning where you'd like to attend a half-a#*ed art show? Perhaps you'll get your wish today! :seeya:

scmom: Steely is being bad this morning.

And this is different from any other day how?

:giggle:

Somethin' unusual must have been in that Emu feed this morning, I can see.

Katiequote:
Daryl Brewer wanted to give his testimony about JA not under oath and not with cross examination. So the AZ Republic helped him do just that, at the bidding of Kirk Nurmi. It was a childish stunt, transparent, and will not save her life. It was just a FU to Juan Martinez. A slicker display of the temper tantrum we saw in the courtroom. And wonder exactly when this interview took place? I'm suspecting before court even started yesterday which is why it was all ready to fly yesterday afternoon. Edited and in 4 parts.
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Completely staged. No cross. JA was not surprised yesterday because she is giving the orders.
Even JA's father said she had problems with Darryl. And for all we know he introduced JA to KY.

Hopeful one,
Please go to page 1 of this thread. Someone posted the link. It was an AZ TV station, they interviewed him at his hotel room. I don't know how to link anything. I am sorry. And the quote button isn't working. Keeps saying I have a database error. I don't want the mods to give me a time out, but DB interview was creepy. Something is clearly wrong with people who are connected to her. I am certain now that Travis was afraid for his life and knew she and her family and past friends were "off". I am now wondering if her DT have been drinking her koolaid because they have zero respect left. ( They never had my respect from the start)

Actually it seems rather early for Steely to be this feisty. Guess Steely needs 3 jars of preparation H.

That interview with DB is super creepy to me. To the poster who said the salt and pepper shakers must have had a suicide pact after listening to table talk between Jodi and him, SPOT ON and so clever. Wish I could remember who said this.

I think he is half the time lying (he knew about Mesa) and half the time delusional (they were monogamous, I guess he didn't know she was screwing Travis while living with him).

I don't understand why he was so concerned about his appearance during the trial and now suddenly he is ok with an on-air interview. His answer didn't make sense to me. During the trial, she was presumed innocent. Now that she is a convicted murderer, he somehow feels better about publicly supporting her? Weird!

Is WS having a technical issue today with quotes, the thanks button and smilies, or did the Mods "pare down" the options here in order to speed things up? Kinda like when you opt out of viewing avatars, signatures and images, and up the views-per-page to 50 or more? (When it gets hyper busy here, that really helps; I've got 200 views per page and it zips right along, even when there's over 1,000 peeps here.)

This is the Arias trial. Expect the unexpected. Expect drama. Expect the attempt to stall. Expect another DT tantrum du-jour. Expect the judge to not start on time, to leave the jurors sitting in their jury room and to call breaks even if she just recently had a break.

Good Morning Team Travis!! I took the evening off after the debacle yesterday. I didn't watch anything about this trial on TV. I needed to refresh myself for whatever happens today. And I didn't want to post what I really thought about what happened yesterday cause I like being here!

Good Morning everyone!

Today should be very interesting...

Yesterday I got out my trusty thesaurus and wrote my version of CMJA's speech to the jury if she pleads for life. I posted it last night in the Sidebar thread (the funnest people hang over there!), but I figured it fits in this thread too:

I stand before you, not to obfuscate, machinate, or discomfit, but to aver that I must be allowed to subsist amongst women like me, as I am autodidactic and this must be beneficial to them.

To occlude from being of service is anathema, for I yearn to inculcate my peers with a desire to cease their multiloquious habits in favor of erudition and enlightenment.
Therefore, your clarion charge must be to provide me life, if not liberty, for the benefit of the benumbed, befuddled, and befogged inhabitants of my future dwelling.

I'm at work today but will be checking in a lot since it's kinda slow so far. TIA to everyone who posts what is happening.

Chester from THM. I agree. Also the 'true love' never dies. Loves JA, his ex-wife, everyone. Just a great, male version of Mother Teresa.

Sorry for being mean but I don't have sympathy for those who try to prevent the TRUTH from being brought out into the open. This trial is supposed to be about truth and thank God that this jury has been able to figure out the truth in spite of the dirty games by the Defense, several hostile witnesses and the lying, manipulative murderer.
