How long does everyone think the jury will be out? I thought they would have said DP right then and there.

Based on the other case someone posted a while back and because it IS such an important decision, I'll say tomorrow. Which would be so weird lol. Another verdict on wednesday.

I'd like the jury to arrive for the verdict wearing matching "I survived 5 months of your BS!" T-Shirts with a photo of a syringe before handing down the DP.

An entire day or two is my guess. It's a difficult decision to make. Of course, JA's insane and unremorseful rambling today has sure made their job much easier!

Yet during her allocation she said she can't even image being so violent to the point of killing someone - and adds "I couldn't even kill spiders - I'd gather them up in cups and put them outside."

I guess she puts more value on the life of spiders than she does to dogs and humans.

When CMja said that she spent Christmas with her family...all I could think was her hiding behind Travis Christmas tree.

Also I am so grateful that the trial finished today rather than another delay.

No I'm positive at least one juror, if not more, caught the dig as well. And yes it was indeed a dig or at least attempting to discredit Sam's contention that it was Travis who was the glue. Basically trying to say that it was the death of their grandmother that tore up the family not Travis' murder. It was a disgusting comment for Jodi to make.

Yeah, basically what I got from the whole defense "show" today was just HOW MUCH she hates Travis. Yes, I'll admit she did acknowledge his family (out of probably knowing that she HAD to), but she purposefully avoided Travis and the whole "murder" thing. Just dusted it under the rug. The only thing she would say was a fake Travis was a great man and I looked up to him. Even that was self-serving, "cause she was tring to convey that he was somehow in control of her.

She talked a lot about herself, about her family, and a little about Travis' family, but what about the person who she caused to suffer so much and who she caused to cease to exist anymore? Whose throat she slit open??? Who she stabbed 29 times???

If I was on that jury, I would just be shaking my head right now. She did all of that to him, and yet she couldn't even bring herself to barely say his name during her "statement."

I'd vote for death just for her despicable comments aimed at Samantha alone. She wants to rob Travis' family of everything, even the legitimacy of their grief. She needs to die for that family ever to be able to escape her sickening endless poisonous rage.

I am originally from SoCal..and have lots of friends in AZ (none in jail in either place, lol). I cannot imagine who she'd teach Spanish to..and isn't she teaching herself Spanish in jail (to talk to inmates..)? Some teacher..makes as much sense as her teaching 'art'.

I just got to hear her. I was reading at some rather colorful places while at work.

She did use some of the Alexander family words against them. Argh!

But, she sounds like she is 12 and trying to win a pageant. Not just the typed words I read, I am listening now. She may as well have ended with " I wish world peas for everyone."

Today is our sweet Kaitlin's 20 th birthday....but we have to acknowledge it without her because another monster saw fit to abduct her , murder her and throw her in the bayou to rot like garbage....she was 13 yrs old. Her murderer sits in Angola prison here in Louisiana. He was sentanced to LWOP plus hard labor. Sentancing is a bit different here in Louisiana so he will never see the outside of those prison walls, and God forbid something would allow that he has another LWOP to serve for another murder after the sentance for KK so he truly is there for life......

I so want that Death Penalty sentance to come down on Kaitlin's 20th birthday.
