Looks like he shaved and bleached his hair.

Wow - just like scott peterson. I wonder if he'll say he was swimming in a friend's pool and that's why it's reddish. What is up with these guys??

I wonder if the Kalpoe brothers will come forward with new information on Natalee now that JVDS has been arrested and PVDS is dead?

I was wondering this also...........like they were scared of talking because of the influence the VS's had in Aruba...............now it is all gone.

I think many of us who have followed the Holloway case closely know there is no such thing as a slam dunk when it comes to this creep.

Yeah, I'm a bit of a cynic myself when it comes to this case. I have high hopes justice will be done, but will wait to see what happens before celebrating.

For now, I'm just happy the guy is in custody and no longer a danger to others.

He went to get coffee for them, yes he bought two, she was like this when he got back. He knew he would get blamed so he took off. hahahahaha

That's what I wrote in the earlier thread, but no one responded. I'm telling you, that will be his defense. Plenty of potential suspects: father, ex-girlfriend, enemies of father. Remember that the family first suspected she had been kidnapped.

Another story from Peruvian Radio

The Chilean Investigative Police (PDI) confirmed the capture of the citizen Santiago Dutchman Joran Van Der Sloot, the alleged murderer of the young Peruvian Stephany Flores (21).

The Dutchman was arrested while traveling to Vina del Mar in a taxi, inform the authorities.

At the moment the young man is being held at the Foreign Department of the PDI, said DNA reporter Karen Soto Radio Chile in dialogue with RPP.

It was reported that Joran Van Der Sloot arrived in Chile on May 31 at the border of Chacalluta.

The Chilean press said that the young man resisted arrest and was delivered immediately to the detectives, who took him to drive foreigners from the PDI, located in Calle General Borgoño 1052, in the suburb of Independence.

Your search has been concentrated in the area of Putre, in the highlands and desert after Van Der Sloot is confirmed it had entered through the border crossing Chacalluta.

In his capture more than 75 staff working.

My husband just said that it was probably a little harder for him to "resist" cops than it was to kill innocent women!

omg, is this Aruba's first attempt at getting Verminslooth out of Peru and back to Aruba's comfy club fed?

:pinocchio: Do you think he'll lie to them there????

I Like that Verminslooth.....

I agree with you. As soon as I read that he'd left the hotel and returned with TWO cups of coffee and then left again shortly thereafter, I realized he was going to say he'd gone out for coffee for BOTH of them and when he returned she was dead, he freaked, then ran.

Why else make such a show of going out to get coffee for two? He planned for people to see him do that. He was setting up his defense.

Because people just could not control themselves, refused to use the "Alert" feature and insisted on replying to TOS violating posts with more TOS violating posts, and the staff got tired of it.

This seems like a poor reason to ignore the entire case and basically act like it doesn't exist... especially given what's happening now, as it is entirely possible that facts and clues that happened in Aruba would be helpful in looking at this case.

What is the process for asking the staff here to at least make the archive public and read only, that way they won't have to deal with problems.

It's just odd that jon benet is still up and happened in the early 90's, and this case is gone. I think it's VERY likely that we will be hearing more about what happened in Aruba because of this, and it will probably be necessary to bring it back anyways. I'm sure there are level headed people here who would be happy to help moderate the forum.

I seriously doubt it; I firmly believe they were paid for "clean up" services~!

if they have video of him entering with her...and then him leaving alone...and no one else entering or leaving the room...I think he is toast...the only thing that worries me is..im sure his father taught him a thing or two with evidence and crime scenes...he left 4 hours or so after they entered the room tells me that he may have tried to stage another scenario ...or clean up certain evidence...JMHO

I'm sorry your post was not acknowledged. This thread is moving at lightening speed and it is hard to keep up with the info. Yes, it will be be interesting to see what is his defense. and I agree with you about your questions.

Thank goodness it's not just me. I don't wish to sound mean or as if I'm calling him names either but I call it like I see it. There is something about this man that seems 'one plumb off of level'. MOO

ETA.. I just realized this is my 2000th post. WooHoo!

Congradulations, WM!

Hoping the evidence/DNA/forencis...fingers him...I wonder if he has any marks/scratches/bruises on HIM.???? Was there a report there was skin found under her nails?

They'll try it, but it is Peru. Kidnapping is far from unusual there; father wealthy, etc.
