"Judge Cordova Carlos Morales , head of the Fourth Court for Prison Inmates in Lima , asked the Division of High Tech Crime of the PNP the final report of findings based on police in the Netherlands citizen computer Joran van der Sloot.

According to RPP, the judge asked the police for the document , although the review of the laptop ended nearly two months, this has not yet been reached at his office. This evidence is needed to confirm the accounts given by the Dutchman."

Whoa...I hope the report didn't get lost in the shuffle!!! Just another twisted turn in this case!!! :banghead:

Bumping this up because I'm wondering why there hasn't been any news about the decision regarding JVS's confession. It seems to be taking a long time.

There's a clip on youtube from a Dutch show in which they held a little competition to find the best Joran impersonator:

[ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pqtKLUY2sjg[/ame]

In the clip, the contestants are introduced at the 1min mark. The challenge posed was to surreptitiously carry a blonde through the auditorium and into a boat. The winner is shown at the 6:30min mark. As the winner he gets to go to Peru...

Joran van der Sloot has made $50k in jail, says report

Joran van der Sloot, the Dutchman who’s behind bars for the May slaying of Peruvian woman Stefany Flores, is reportedly raking in tons of money in prison, according to one report. Van der Sloot is also the prime suspect in the 2005 disappearance of Alabama teen, Natalee Holloway.

The National Enquirer reports that a Holloway family spokesperson has divulged that van der Sloot obtained $50,000 from Dutch media interviews and he’s using the money to bribe prison guards, have food and drink from the outside brought to him, and to buy new clothes.

The report also says the accused killer is playing poker with the prison guards at night.

Natalee Holloway,18, vanished in Aruba after leaving a nightclub with van der Sloot. She was on a high school graduation trip with classmates and was never heard from again after her encounter with the Dutchman.

"According to the tabloid [National Enquirer], van der Sloot is using money he was paid for a recent interview for Dutch television to live the high life in Lima's usually rough Castro Castro prison.

'...prison guards are Joran's personal servants. He plays cards with them, and they even allowed him to buy fancy shoes and clothes for his prison pal Hugo Trujillo Ospina - "The Clown" - a paid assassin who's been protecting him from other inmates' sexual attacks, The ENQUIRER has learned.

Joran is ensuring his safety by becoming the prison "Santo Klaus" - buying cigarettes and garments for the most dangerous inmates and donating to their favorite charity to send a 3-year-old Peruvian girl for medical care in the U.S.' "

It's totally disgusting how JVDS seems to be able to fool everyone by being a 'nice guy'. And the fact that he now has money again to buy his friends is simply disgraceful! :furious: :banghead: :furious:

Heyya FLNY.

JVS will need a nice slush fund if he's eventually housed in Gen Pop.

The local higher ups and all media are going to milk this case along...as it brings in revenue. As long as he's given access to media, as well as his mother, and people keep responding, it will stay the same.

FLNY, they know he's not a nice guy, just that he has money which they can take advantage of...if that stopped, he'd be in same situation as the majority down there. He's not fooling anybody...especially his cohorts and the guards. imo

How completely tasteless. I think I've seen it all now.

Here's more:

"The huge interview fee, which Joran uses for his bribes and luxury living, is reportedly funneled to him a small amount at a time by a local attorney. "

'The 23-year-old Dutchman exploded after he was fed food that he thought might be poisoned, said National Enquirer in an exclusive story'.

I'm looking forward to see how NG works this story!

Tadpole! I started reading your post quickly and saw ''The 23-year-old Dutchman exploded'. For a second there I thought it meant literally. I was astounded and thinking WTH????? Then it sank in that they were refering to his temper. LOL! :croc:for me for reading too quickly!

Joran Van Der Sloot Attacks Prison Guard

http://www.timesoftheinternet.com/147851.html

Thanks, nums.

THIS is the type of behavior and reaction I was hoping for from JVS being incarcerated - and as it should be! Not the smirky good time Charlie, frat house lifestyle we've been reading about. He needs to be scared for his life every single day. He needs to know that anyone can get to him any time and that his dirty bribe money will only go so far. In fact, it just may pizz off the wrong (or right?) person.

I gotta say I'm thoroughly unimpressed with Castro Castro as far as being known as a tough prison...

"He made it through one door of the cell block and almost made it through a second door before another guard tackled him and held him down. If that guard hadn't acted so quickly, who knows how far Joran would have gone?"
