I forgot already. [I would be a TERRIBLE eye-witness, lol.] Did the youtube posted by Impatient show him leaving in a short-sleeved striped shirt? [lol - all I remember is it had a lot of pinks in it.]

Just checked - YES it IS SHORT-SLEEVED.

We just don't know if Stephany was dead or alive the first time he left the hostel w/out her and we know she was in the room. IMO.

That first one - if you count the money he's holding its only like 60 bucks - the first 4 bills are 1's then a 20 then a 5, the last one is a 20 - can't make out the one before the last but even so - certainly NOT the amount of money I normally see people holding up. And he thought he was holding "a fortune". lol

I think the skin under her finger nails came from her family to news reporters. I have no reason to believe thats a lie unless it's just sensational news reporting. We have yet to see Joran's pictures in short sleeves since his arrest, no?!? His face and neck don't bare wounds in photos since his arrest. IMO.

Stephaney's father did mention the following to Jane-Velez Mitchell:

RICARDO FLORES, STEPHANY`S FATHER (through translator): They left in her car, and they found some wrappings of pills they use to drug people. We will have samples of this man`s skin underneath the nails of my daughter. So once he is captured, we will be able to show that he is the killer, and he won`t be able to walk away like he did in Aruba.

I'm not so sure he's saying that Joran's DNA under her fingernails has actually been found.

Between this creeps parents and Aruba this monster could and should have been put away in some sort of place where he couldn't hurt anyone or anything when he was younger ,instead his parents indulged his every whim and Aruba has protected him and excused their own actions,shame that parents cannot see or refuse to admit they had a monster.Wonder what other things besides beating his dog to death he did as a child? That action alone should have sent major alarm signals to his parents get some real help with this kid.

Sorry, I went back and can't find where I got that info. I do know that the video on the special Greta tonite, she did state they paid a license fee, but didn't indicate how much. I may have gotten the $10K from the amount he said he sold Natalee for.

He looked SO different [face, hair, eyes, etc, but not height, body, build] when he left the room to me. What was different about him? tia

She was killed sometime between 5AM and 8AM on Sunday morning and not found until Wed. morning. Once she was found all the info came out pretty quick about it being him. They caught him Thur. afternoon and he had already traveled like 2500 miles.

Chile acted very quickly to "expel" him outta their country and escorted him to their border and handed him over to the Peruvian authorities.

Well then they didn't exactly "wait" as the banner on GAL showed. So now I'm totally confused about the 3 days and how the reporter responded.

Seems he blamed one of his playmates. But after the playmates mom talked to him, Joran finally admitted he'd killed his dog himself.

The guy has needed help for a loooonnnnngggg time!

I have watched this repeatedly, and still can't get over it..... the fact that he seems to completely ignore her, absolutely confident that she will follow. That she seems so 'out of it', somehow. That when he leaves the room, after committing the most heinous, violent act, and seeing what remained, he looks so relaxed...

It is simply chilling.

It is chilling! Joran walks quietly like a predator who is treading quietly across dangerous territory. Hard to believe he thinks he got away with such a heinous, frenzied murder - either he has no idea who he just murdered or he is completely stoned or both. yikes!

We haven't seen video of him returning with the two coffees in his horizontal striped shirt and we haven't seen video of him leaving the hostel to flee or paying for an addition 14 days and/or placing a do NOT disturb sign on the door.

One thing I'm liking about Peruvian officials right now is that they seem to want to clear up any misreporting from the media post haste. Something we don't often see here in the good ole USA.

I didn't see any of that, strange....I clicked to see more of his friends and the message came up that "he has no friends" but you can go back and see photos of some of them....weird.

I finally watched the surveillance video from the hotel. It annoyed me the way he tossed up the keys - like "Ooo..look at me with a pretty girl going to my room". Blech. Is it me or did Stephanie look like she was staggering a bit?

I believe another poster pointed it out, but I hadn't caught it on my first view, and wanted to move the video up. VDS basically shows his disregard, disdain for her as she enters - the door basically in her face. Looks to the right slightly to assure that she's entering. He's a sexual predator, in my view. He's very, very comfortable doing what he's doing. He is able to hone in on which females are more vulnerable. This psychopath isn't gonna jump out of the bushes. This is too much fun for him. The money was an additional bonus.

Research shows that a lack of empathy displays itself very early - if he had a little sister, he might be cutting an arm or a head off one of her dollies. I'm not sure what kind of help you would give to a child such as this - there are no empathy shots that I know of. moo
