She doesn't have anything in either hand.

Very small clutch in her right hand. In lobby as she follows behind him, you only see it once AS HER RIGHT ARM SWINGS.

It appears she has been to his room before just by the way he enters the room first without holding the door open for her like a gentleman would......

I'm kinda thinking along the same thoughts as you. Not the gentleman part (LOL) but that she was in the room before.

I don't see it. To me it looks like her hand is empty and she slips it into her front pocket as they exit the frame in the hotel lobby.

I don't see it either. Has it ever been stated anywhere that she was actually carrying a purse that night or is it just being assumed she should have one? I looked at those pictures that were linked and there is one of her with another girl- the other girl has a bag, Stephaney does not. A second picture of her sitting at a table with 2 other girls- they both have bags, she does not. I think maybe she didn't carry one.

Didn't he steal her car and the LE found it somewhere way off? He cold have killed her, taken the car key out of her pocket and stolen the money then. I think he was hoping to have sex with her and he slipped her the date rape drug at the casino. Maybe sat in the car for 45 minutes until it really hit her (maybe she was saying "No - I can't come up - I need to go home") and he was trying to woo her until it hit her and she got really tired or just wanted to lie down?

Just some ramblings after reading the latest posts: She has her wallet and cell phone in her pants pocket --she is not wearing a dress. That's what they found of hers in the room. She was playing poker--I have never had a purse with me when I've played and I've never seen a female player with one--where would you put in while you were playing? On the table?--no one likes anything but drinks and butts on the table. Why did she go to his room? Because she was 21. Why does she look strange? I think it's obvious she is avoiding the cameras.

What does her being 21 have to do with a reason of her going into his room?

I think he was after money, especially now that we know he has been trying to get money from the Holloway's and that his mother has not been in contact with him.

There is nothing, absolutely nothing, that looks like he is flirting or sexual with her in the video (or in the witness statements).

He could be walking to the room with a guy friend. Just does not look like an early morning casino hookup walk to the room to me.

I think he was after money, especially now that we know he has been trying to get money from the Holloway's and that his mother has not been in contact with him.

Right. I noticed the same thing. It certainly does not look like any sort of romantic encounter was planned by they way the two of them entered his room.

I think the misconception with sociopaths as they appear so attractive and charming (Scott Peterson, and many others). At 5 AM and probably drinking all night, and a fight with her Dad, her judgement was not good.

Don't know if the fight with dad is true or a rumor but how horrible he (Dad) must feel to know that the last time he saw his daughter alive was not in the best of situations. It was probably the last time he saw her ever as the police did not even let him see her body. That will haunt him forever. So sorry for this girl's suffering at the hands of this angry, woman hater.

My guts says robbery too. I think the COD was extremely off. The autopsy said blunt force trauma. I really am having a hard time believing everything that is coming out of Peru. I know he did it. I just want more facts.

On the video, I would like to get a better shot of what type of keys he has in his left hand slinging around. Looks to be more than one key. When he gets to the room, he opens the door with his right hand.
