Both parents saw the signs, the animal killings, the drugs, and said "oh, he's just a teen testing his boundaries. HELLO. If my son were doing any of those things, I'd go to the ends of the earth to help him. But then again, is there a cure for a psychopath.

I do blame, in part, the parents here. The father enabled him immensly (JVS) and the mother with her unfaltering support and kisses. If my son was accused with murder, you'd have to pry me off of him -- I wouldn't be kissing him.

Sorry - just my opinion and not meant to hurt feelings.

In defense of Jeffrey Dahmer's parents, when he was growing up no one knew those warning signs. Boys will be boys and all....
 
I have sent the Utube video to my son, daughter-in-law and her family....I hurts my heart so much but her maiden name is Rameriz...as most of my facebook friends know...ugh...ly

The movie I was asking about was made in 1978. Its a true story of a 21yo that was arrested in Turkey for possession of marijuana. The trailer starts off like whats going to happen with Joran. Very scary....unbelievable ending.

Do you think he could confess to killing Natalee and Aruba serve arrest warrant and have him go to Aruba be tried and convicted and have to serve his sentence in Aruba first since Natalee's happened first. If I was Joran I would give it a try. Aruba's prison's would be so much better for him.

He's already given several different versions of what happened to Natalee, so why should yet another one be believed? I don't think Peru is going to let him go anywhere for many years. :behindbar MOO

That's right, that's why I posted that MAP. If he indeed purchased the 2 coffees from Wong, it was not nearby so he might have driven her car there. It was around 8 am, so I'm thinking Wong might have been closed at that time, so IMO it is more likely he went to the gas station that was mentioned first, and in that video they show what looks like a MiniMart not a Wong, unless as I said, he drove her car from the Hotel to Wong.

Garcia is mentioned in the news because he is a "key witness". In the previous thread, I posted about him. What you see iin that video clip is him leaving the DIRITRI (sp?) after giving his testimony to LE, and refusing to answer questions from reporters. He eventually talked to "America Noticias". Will try find that post and repost it here. According to what he said, he (Garcia) played poker with Stephany on 4 occasions (at the Fiesta Casino and the Atlantic City casino), no mention of Joran being there with them on those ocassions. I have never heard (so far) anything about Steph and Amsterdam.

I have enlarged it and watched it numerous times...just looks to me (MOO) his "tuck in" type shirt is sorta in a pleat...due to the body armor...LOL...but I have old eyes and could be wrong!

That was a great movie...I saw it when it was at the theaters! Scared me to death.

What I have read about serial killers is they have a need to kill that keeps building and feel a release once they have done it and are calm again. Again, I've no idea if this is true of JVDS.
