I'm really starting to wonder if these two just met that night, as Stephany's father asserts. I think she may have been hanging around with him much longer than that (without her family's knowledge). In the hotel it seems like there is tension between them - he refuses to acknowledge her presence and she follows meekly behind, almost like she's contrite about something.

I think they knew each other much longer than a few hours and I think they were arguing before they even got to the hotel. I think her family just didn't know about it.

Maybe she DID loan him some money (something I originally thought nobody would do at a casino- loan money to a just-met aquaintence) and she had had just about enough of his "charming company" and just wanted to accompany him to his hotel room- where he told her his money was- and get what he owed her and get the he77 away from him.

And, if I was entering a hotel with JVDS, I'd hide my face and hang my head too! jus sayin.

Leos sensitive and sweet? Really? As a Scorpio, I've always found them to be extremely arrogant, bossy, rude and self-centered. No go for me.

No, right now the judge is only deciding whether or not to charge him. The gathering of complete evidence, and the trial, will follow. That could take months or longer.

The pic of his face shaded in blue up-post will probably give me nightmares tonight as it is....

eta: that pic of his face, the last one, he looks like a Hannibal Lechter-type character. Pretty chilling. Wonder if his mom sees that, or sees her son like you or I would?

I don't think they were watching the news together, and even if they were, it doesn't seem logical that he'd kill her because she found out he was a suspect in Natalee's death. After five years, the whole world knows about that and honestly I'm surprised she didn't know who he is. Maybe if she had she wouldn't have gone to that hotel room on May 30. I still think he lured her into the room to drug her and take her money. MOO

I'm not offended. I can be some of those things, really. Two Leos together are very bad. My brother and I are 3 days apart. Fire and Ice.
 
Wonder how the rest of Aruba is taking this news? Wish someone would put a reporter on the street there and see what public opinion is.

I can be nice too, I don't really follow horoscopes but the description of Leo's is pretty much accurate, for myself. We are not bad people, just driven to "lead". Kind of like an alpha dog. I am getting old and don't care if I lead or follow anymore, frankly. :)

My sister in law was visiting from Virginia this weekend. I was reading an article with his picture and she walked by my computer. She asked me "who is that?"..she had no clue who he was. Up until then I thought everyone knew who he is, she proved me dead wrong.
 
Geraldo is talking about Joran again tonight.
