Just WOW. What exactly did she see on his laptop? And how do we even know he's telling the truth?

I wonder if a broken hyoid bone may have been mistakenly interpreted as a broken neck in this case? Just a thought.

* anchor point for tongue (in human skeletal system (anatomy): The hyoid: example of the anchoring function)

The primary function of the hyoid bone is to serve as an anchoring structure for the tongue. The bone is situated at the root of the tongue in the front of the neck and between the lower jaw and the largest cartilage of the larynx, or voice box. It has no articulation with other bones and thus has a purely anchoring function.

Have you noticed how he looks different in every picture? It reminds me of a poster of Ted Bundy. There were twenty something pictures and every one was different .

I am getting a bad feeling about this!

Defense reasons. The Dutchman citizen Joran van der Sloot has no public defender to the investigation into the murder of Stephany Flores (21), daughter of businessman Ricardo Flores, occurred last week.
This was stated by Carla Odría, representative of the Ministry of Justice and who played public defender of European citizens in recent days.
Speaking to elcomercio.pe, Carla said Odría ignore the lawyer's identity and nationality. Reliable sources indicated that it would be Joseph Tacopina, who defended it five years ago by the death of the young American girl Natalee Holloway.
SATURDAY WAS
Odría mentioned that he had the opportunity to talk to Joran van der Sloot on Saturday in the cells of the Dirincri and noticed it quiet.
"I spoke with him in the presence of a police officer for security. I had not told me unhappy, "he said Odria. He noted that the dialogue between the two was possible thanks to the presence of an interpreter. "The translation was in the Netherlands" he said.
Counsel avoided mentioning if the Dutchman proclaimed innocence by "professional secrecy". He noted that the interview did not ask him to call other witnesses.

I wonder if a broken hyoid bone may have been mistakenly interpreted as a broken neck in this case? Just a thought.

I don't think so Adalena. Broken hyoid is indicative of strangulation, but I don't think the ME would report it as a broken neck. That's a huge stretch. ME's are usually fluent in Latin and English, based on my medical background.

I just keep wondering if he stomped on her neck. I find it hard to believe that a tennis racket could cause that kind of damage. I can see him stomping on her to finish he off in all is rejected rage. Makes me sick to think about.

I don't buy robbery as primary motive. It's the same motive he had in Aruba. The beating is savage to say the least.

Wow they got him to confess pretty quickly!! Apparently the Peruvian police are a lot more effective than the Aruban police. With NH, they complained that he wouldn't talk at all!!
different "interrogation techniques" make all the difference dontcha know?

She may not have seen anything.
Just going through his things might have set him off.
And once he hit her he knows he is in a world of trouble.
He won't fair well in a he said she said battle.

Kinda like Geragos saying SP was guilty before he got hired.
I never understood why his parents/him would want Geragos as a lawyer considering the things Geragos was saying about the case on TV before he became Scott's lawyer. And we all know where Scott Peterson ended up.

LIMA (BNO NEWS) — Dutchman Joran van der Sloot, who remains the prime suspect in the disappearance of missing teenager Natalee Holloway, on Monday confessed to murdering a Peruvian woman, police confirmed.
According to police, Van der Sloot killed 21-year-old Stephany Tatiana Flores Ramirez because she saw ’something’ about Natalee Holloway on his laptop.

“I did not want to do it,” Van der Sloot said in his confession. “The girl saw private things. She had no right. I approached her and she was scared,” he continued.
“We discussed it and she tried to escape, and I took her neck and hit her.”
Further details were not immediately released.

CONFESSION :woohoo::woohoo::woohoo::woohoo::woohoo::woohoo::woohoo::woohoo:

Furhman was in a room in that hotel (another floor tho) and it's very small. There wasn't room for anything to be arranged very dif. Bed, nightstand, chair and four walls. About 8'x10' he said. He said her body would've been between the bed and the wall just like in the diagram you posted.

Typed from DVR

MF: This is room 206 not 309. Small room barely room for bed and tv. Tile on walls. Heavy bed. Mattress was askew. "There is a schematic that was drawn by the police, there's been a report in the local media here, her body would have been crumpled up in this area if this is at all the same as 309."

So we don't know if the room MF showed is the same size as 309, but the room he showed looked to be about 2 ft between the wall and the side of the bed where her body would have been. (not enough room for her be laying the way the drawing showed) JMO

Didn't diagram of Stephany's body sy something about her eyes?..........strangle?
