Post #165, they found coffee in her system that confirmed the account that she was still alive when he went to get the coffee according to this news report.

Maybe she had coffee all night to stay up for all we know.........at the casino perhaps.........I guess I just find it hard to believe that all that occurred within a 1/2 hour or so.........

Also I just read coffee residue ON THE FLOOR............that could have been spilled due to his rage settling down after the murder or in his hurry to get the h out of dodge

Can someone translate this and give us the short version? I've read that it says Joran punched her in the face ten times.

http://www.trome.com/tonline/Html/2010-06-07/ontractualidad1093733.html

It does...I'll summarize:

"Él regresó y montó en cólera. Ambos empezaron a discutir de manera violenta. El hombre la mató a golpes", contó una fuente policial.

He came back and was very angry (enraged?) and they began to argue violently

This version of the story is confirmed by coffee residue on the floor and the bruises the victim had on various parts of her body.

The autopsy summary determined that she had been punched in the face ten times, breaking the nose and mouth, and, at the same time, inflamation in the eyes.

Along with this, there were five blows to her head and neck which caused trauma causing her death. She had bruises on her hands and feet, as if in trying to defend herself, but there was little she could do against a man so much bigger.

After committing the murder, the foreigner put his things and valuables from the victim in two suitcases, along with jewelry and money, and left the accommodations.

I don't believe Joran's story that he became enraged when he found that Stephany had accessed info on his computer. IMO Stephany was too well-bred a young woman to go snooping on his computer. If he was just going to the store across the street, how much time did she really have alone with his computer and how much info could she have gotten in such a short amount of time. If his computer contained such secret information, I would think that he would have it password protected. Not buying the computer story at all. What I will buy is a financial motive/sexual motive, which she resisted strongly and which got her killed.

Joran says " the girl intruded into my private life," when looking at his laptop! What a crock. First of all this guy has been all over the news with his bogus interviews to make money since his gravy train stopped. He had no private life after he " alleged killed Natalee Holloway." He enjoyed the attention when he was interviewed by Greta Van Susteran and other news agencies. Can you all grasp the thought that Joran had so much anger in him that he physically broke Stephanys neck with his hands. God only knows what he did to Natalee.

But he did still have secrets abbra and those would be found on his private laptop imo. It isn't about what he has boasted about in the media that he choreographed for the media. It is what he wanted to protect that was his own possession.

I don't think he broke her neck with his hands only. I think he swung the wooden tennis racket so hard and so many times that it broke her neck.

Yes, I am afraid that Natalee's death was also horrible and violent. This man is already known for violent outburst. It makes sense when he kills it would not be a soft kill but one fueled with evilness and rage. IMO, he feeds off of the power he feels it gives him.

I heard via the reports last night through Jane, that it was two cans of soda found in the room. I haven't heard coffee was found in the room yet and still waiting of the video where he left to get the coffee.

I just translated the relevant part of the article that someone wanted translated and it stated in there that coffee remains were found in the room, very much making it sound like the fight happened after he returned with the coffee that morning.

It's a few posts up from this and my rough translation is in red - I'm trying to get out the door or would have done a complete one...but it's the relevant part about the bruises, etc. and the coffee.

I'm guessing, based on that part I just translated, that the reason we don't see the part with him returning with the coffee is it's directly related to the TOD - that the fight happened immediately afterward and she likely found information on the computer while he was gone getting coffee and then confronted him (just as someone speculated)

Thanks, TravelingBug! Makes so much more sense when you translate.

where this post lands on the thread is random.

If there is any truth to the laptop story, and I am not completely convinced yet that there is, then there must have been something much much more than just his connection to the NH case. If he truly is a Serial Killer, which I wouldn't be too surprised, maybe the laptop holds tributes to each victim. JVDS wouldn't have gotten murderous over her knowing about the NH case...everyone knows, he loves that. He would have loved to see her scared and leave. The only reason to get murderous is knowing something that could hurt him. IMHO.

OR if she was truly drugged and he had sex with her,he could have video'd it or taken pictures of her in a state of undress with the PC's webcam and that is what she found.

That would definitely send her into a rage and her telling him what her family would do to him which would mean he couldn't let her out of the room alive.

I think MF on GVS reported last night that there were 2 cans of coke and 1 coffee cup in the room.

Thanks, I just read the article regarding coffee in her system. Earlier reports did not indicate coffee found in the room, only soda cans, that is why I questioned coffee in the room more so then "coffee in her system".

I just uploaded that video here and will go back and listen more carefully. Last I heard via Jane yesterday with the police report, Jane indicated 2 cans of soda in the room and never mentioned coffee.

Thanks.

Nope... I think she was dead by that time and the the trip for TWO coffees was to stage an alibi.

I'm with ya! I can't believe that he would leave her in the room with all his belongings and 'thoughtfully' go and get coffee for them both. It's just not his style.

no one recalls joran saying that Natalie told him she was a lesbian? maybe it was in the Vanity Fair article...I am going to poke around and see if i can find it.

JeanC from Peru on HLN: went across street to Wong to get coffee according to papers
- confession was after 10 hrs of interrogation
- his mother is on way to country

I heard 2 cans of soda and 1 container with the remains of coffee. I remember thinking where is the other container of coffee that he supposedly bought.

I think that his time in jail will give the Aruban police a chance to further their investigation and hopefully his laptop has a wealth of evidence about Holloway.

When his time is finished in Peru he could be sent to Aruba or the U.S. on an international warrant, IIRC.

BTW, it was mentioned above the Joran threw a bum off a bridge when he was younger. Why did his parents not get him help? Why did they foster this behavior in him? IMO, the blood of this girl is not only on Joran's hands but his families hands for not getting him the help he needed.

I think Joran has always used his bigness as power over others. His friends seem to be rather small. Imo, he carefully selected his friends that way he could intimidate them into doing whatever he wanted them to do.

However I don't think he will give up any information on Natalee. He hates Beth Twitty too much to ever give her peace of mind as to what happened to her daughter and where her remains are. A true psychopath who is all about control.

IMO

If SF found Natalee info on Joran's pc while he was gone, why didn't she just leave before he got back? If a young girl discovers she is in the hotel room of a murderer, I don't think she would hang around to confront him.

It is when he is in his charismatic and charming mode which psychopaths use continuously when they think it behooves them.
