I do not believe he is/was an inmate anywhere. I think he lives in Bolingbrook but I don't know.

http://www.suburbanchicagonews.com/...7,Peterson-stepbrother-talks_jo030909.article

Article from March 2009.
The stepbrother, Morphey, also has a "missing wife" and told people he was paid to help remove a barrel from DP's home. Maybe he did more than just the barrel to a car/truck? He has been arrested twice for DUI. A third arrest would put him in jail for a significant time....which would make him an inmate.

~snipped from Wasalurker:

Thank you - that's it!! So even though the property line on the map doesn't show the property going to the creek - it obviously does based on the above owners quote and where they are looking.

It is possible that there are additional parcels owned by David A., and that one of those parcels is what goes to the creek.

I'm in that GIS link again trying to create a map that shows those.

6Angels, I had not read where the family said DP didn't know Stacy's mother. Has anyone went back and looked at her legal records to make sure he was not involved w/ ever picking her up or anything? Was DP a cop at the time of her disappearance?

Is this a large police force where it is possible that he never had any contact w/ her? I can't help but wonder how many others he has killed. He is definitely one sick and twisted person. I can't stand to even watch him.

Also, I read somewhere (don't remember where because it has been a long time ago) that a fellow female officer was murdered several years ago. I think there may have been question if they had a relationship or if DP was sexually harassing her. If I remember correctly, some people thought DP might also be responsible for her murder? Forgive me and correct me if I am wrong. I have not followed this case as closely as others.
I have been personally told by a family member that Drew did not know Stacy's mom.
They also used to have a website up with a forum and it was stated there also by fam that Drew did not know her mom.

I do not personally think Drew had anything to do with Stacys mom being missing. He is a Monster and I believe he killed many people I just don't thinks she was one of them. I believe the family may have their own thoughts about what happened to Stacy's mom and its not my place to state what they are.

She is not missing. He just had not had contact with her. IIRC she was located. Fessel may know that for sure. I don't know if I can find the media story that indicates she is alive and well. It may have gone 'poof'.

here's part of another article that I don't think was posted here as yet (or I missed it LOL)

snipped:

There's no indication of any link between Peterson and the Peoria man who owns the land searched Saturday. Owner Dave Alwan boards horses and grows hay on the property. He said he does not know Peterson, "other than watching TV like every other American."

Alwan's land, known as Echo Valley Farms, wraps around a shooting range. It is gated and fenced in. Access is limited to his family and friends.

"He would have been trespassing if he was on there, especially where he was at," Alwan said. "The only thing that land is used for is hunting."

Anyone remember where Vicki Connolly lives?

Here's the pic that was in the media of her house:

Somebody else asked when was the last time Drew talked with Vicki and reference is on this transcript below, interview with Vicki's daughter Lisa:

http://www.acandyrose.com/2007-11-12-GretaOTR-LisaWard.htm

On The Records 11/12/2007

"VAN SUSTEREN: Since the time your mother and Drew Peterson divorced, do you know if they've had any contact at all, either by telephone or seen each other?

LISA: Oh, yes, ma'am. He talks to my mom.

VAN SUSTEREN: How often?

LISA: But she doesn't talk to him. Not very often. He just kind of pops up out of nowhere sometimes. The last time I myself had seen him was five years ago at my grandma's wake. I believe my mom had talked to him a few months ago. So it was kind of — you know, mom said it always seems like he's there somewhere.

Morphey was hospitalized after trying to kill himself following the alleged barrel moving incident. He then was put into state police custody for two months.
http://cbs2chicago.com/local/peterson.thomas.morphey.2.960170.html

What is the meaning of “put into state police custody for two months”? Is this a mistake and really means that he was held on a Section 302b (involuntary psychiatric hold)? Is one considered an inmate in the state of Illinois when they are held on a Section 302b? (They would be considered a locked (locked unit) inpatient in my state.)

Great Find!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Most excellent point, Pensfan. As I posted yesterday, has anyone seen Thomas Morphey lately?

Find the "accomplice" and it's all over.

I believe there was an article where Morphey was put in a safe house for awhile and he told them he wanted to go home and did.

Mysterylover, IIRC it was October 28, 2007. But yes, the property was sold 7 months later.

I don't know how long the Sportsman's Club was on the market or whether it remained open to the public during that time...

Noway, I'd like to find our WHO owned this land they are searching and the Sportsman's Club on October 2007.

Who were the members of this Sportsman's Club at that time.

Was the Club fenced, gated and private, for family and friends in 2007?.

IF S. is buried there, there has to be a link to this area somewhere, someway if DP wasn't one of the hunters or campers..

But if the accomplice was the man with so many mental health issues, would LE have put so much stock in his latest story, I wonder?

I just hope this is not like the Haleigh case, where LE searched for days on that dock, and then that was that, or seemed to be. I know LE can't pick and choose their tipsters though, in most cases they are dealing with shady characters, as in Haleigh's case as well.

On another note, would a GPS trip still be stored three years later in a vehicle? I have no idea how they work.

LINK

The blue outlined location is the farm parcel. The surrounding parcels in red are a mystery to me as far as parcel number. If anyone knows how to operate the GIS map, what I'd like is a picture like that showing the Parcel ID numbers (PINs). (ETA Never mind, I figured it out.)

I chose that option on the main page but nothing happened.

I wonder if the shooting range (Big Hollow Sportsman's Club) was open October 2007. If it was for sale, it might have been closed, and even more isolated.

Also, it may have had a different name then and was given the name Big Hollow in 2008 when it was sold.

FWIW

The Big Hollow Sportsman's Club property was sold May 16, 2008. LINK

It is possible that the land searched and the club were owned by the same person, and David bought the land.
Not sure who owns Big Hollow.

Noway, Good question!

Those of you in IL or the Midwest will know what I am about to say and maybe can say it better than me so that everyone will understand.....
When I read the "the only thing that land was used for is hunting" a lightbulb went off in my head and here's why...

They are searching near a creek and in "timbered land" (per the State Police statement)...now in October you have really weird weather here....the leaves are falling off the trees and it's usually raining and/or can even be snowing....therefore the banks of the creek would be like they are now.....muddy and yucky
add the falling leaves to that.....now hunting season starts and hunters are tramping all over the land pushing the leaves down and packing down the muddy banks.
If you have horses and are hunting from horseback that is even more weight on the land.
November and heavy winds, cold conditions and the trees are going bare - more leaves, more ground cover etc....
If this land is not cleared for farming and only used for hunting - there is a good possibility that no one ever noticed the disturbed land cause the leaves fell on it, and in those kinds of areas like forest preserves it is not just a covering of leaves - it is blankets and inches and inches deep of leaves - hunters and horses trampled over it, the creek bed rose and fell and then winter hit - icy, cold, snow, etc..

Again JMOO and knowledge of brothers and father going hunting, and gramps having a farm a long time ago...

I don't guess that anybody disposing of a body cares whether he is trespassing or not. JMO

O/T but for those of you not watching - the Hawks won tonight!! LOL

partial Quote Chicago news:

"He would have been trespassing if he was on there, especially where he was at," Alwan said. "The only thing that land is used for is hunting." ....end of quote

The way I read what Mr. Alwan's is saying, is that he owned the land surrounding the shooting range in 2007 and his land was fenced and gated and only used by his family and friends for hunting.
So did Mr. A. see and know all the friends that hunted there? I doubt it, if he was working 100 hours a week at his restaurant.

correct me if I misunderstood what Mr. Alwan said.

Big Hollow Sportman's Club has a shooting range along with camping and fishing. Sounds like a guy's dream. DP could have been on this property to hunt, fish, or shoot at the range and remembered how remote it was. One does not have to be a member to use the shooting range in non-reserved hours.
