Thanks...hanging in there lol! My point was not about the who and what of 911...my point was that they were able to identify the 911 victims using the smallest of body sample and that was acceptable and reasonable and proof of death and therefore previous existance.

Oh yes, I get it. That is very possible, if a frament is found with enough DNA it would prove death, we already have enough to prove death with the hair and decomp.

She's never going to talk. I can tell in those jailhouse visitation videos that she has just about convinced herself that her stories are true.

When 911 happened and the victims' bodies were tragically unrecoverable, people sifted through the rubble and DNA from the smallest body part/fragment/etc. was enough to identify victims and even "lay them to rest." It was all they had, all that was left of their bodies. It was proof that these beloved family members existed and now were deceased. It was healing to family members.

If because of the mother's horrible crime, all that is recoverable of Caylee was one tiny little hair, with a "death ring", isn't that part of her body? (And recovering that hair was a miracle itself due to the family's cleaning of the car as well as identifying the hair due to obstruction on the part of turning over the correct hairbrush.)

Does this not constitute where there was life is now dead? Isn't a part of the body, albeit miniscule, prove a body?

The state can't prove that Casey killed her and when - even with the death band - still if they had a body they wouldn't be able to tell who killed her either - unless they would be able to get a reading of the chloroform they found in the ca

Get the barf buckets ready, the Anthonys will be making a statement
according to their MySpace.

Just wonderful! Now where did I put my boots so I can wade through all of the bs they will be shoveling. :waitasec:

Thanks trac. I still think that the prosecution has a lot more than we know. Enough to proceed and be sucessful.

I am so glad to hear this. This will be the 1st time in KC life that she can not take the easy way out of a situation. If she gets LWOP then she will sit in prison until she dies and then she can think about how bad of a XXXX up she is.

RIP~Caylee.

You know your right - she will not be able to get out of this one

I hope you feel better. :) I know what you mean about kids. My son is about to kick me off the computer so he can play a computer game. Oh, well, I guess I can always wash the sink full of dirty dishes. Sigh.

I think they have much more too - I'm looking forward to seeing the trial - I'm sure with the Sunshine Law we'll get it televised

Are we going to have a few of us watching the trial and making notes for everyone? I think we should have threads - Trial Day One, Trial Day Two, etc.

I'll be one of the people - I work at home at my own business I'll have the trial on all day (I'll record my soap to watch later) and write notes to share

Thanks :) My 20 yr old daughter moved home Friday (yeah!) from Orlando (so I lost my local contact LOL) she moved back with a cold and she lovingly passed it to me

As for the computer - we have 2 desktops and 2 laptops - so if one has to be on my computer (which is only for work) then I use the laptop - so either way I'm covered!

Just think your hands will be super soft! LOL

Excuse me I just sneezed for the millionth time today!!! LOL

I would say that this means the prosecution does NOT have a very good case against KC. That is upsetting to me. If they really had good evidence against her they would have sought the DP. Without a body and no blockbuster evidence against her they are afraid to seek the DP. I sure hope they can get LWOP. Seems doubtful tho.

No problem. Hope enough information and hopefully more is found before the acual trial next year. While I am personally against the Death Penalty, (only duncan made me question, and then I came to peace with the fact that it would make no difference anyway, but that is me), I do understand all of you wanting it. I just try to provide bits that I understand about it.

Funny you should say that, because I was against the DP before THIS case!

After the 2nd release of the computer searches, I jumped to the other side.

Then after seeing the newly released jail videos and noticing how much casey is enjoying her new 'celebrity' status, LWOP is just not gonna cut it for me. IMO

This tells me that prosecutors received advanced notice -- the DA told them that their stupid game was up -- that their alleged incriminating evidence would not support the selection of a death-qualified jury. In other words, the People's evidence does not support clear and unyielding proof of: intent, premeditation, deliberation and malice aforethought (murder one). Look for more to come in the way of reduced charges.

Thats what I had thought too, but for CA its not enough Im sure, they will be looking for Caylee alive forever

I respectfully disagree. I think CA and GA already know that Caylee is dead but cannot publicly admit it until KC's trial is over. At this point, admitting that Caylee is dead will all but ensure a guilty verdict for KC. As long as they continue with the charades there is still a chance (albeit remote) that KC might be found not guilty.

Here, have some hot apple cider, (with a little peach schnapps,) curl up and we'll wait for the statement together. I figure my head can't hurt more than it already does, right?
