Reactions to Child *advertiser censored* Discovery

Just want to check in with my fellow Sleuthers concerning this latest disclosure re: the child *advertiser censored* and other offensive images.

I agree with Marc Klass's assessment that BD is not dumb and clueless but "street smart and savvy." This woman knows what she is doing -- deny, deny, deny, deflect, deflect, deflect... ad nauseum. It is my opinion that, at this point in time, she is focusing most of her energy on defending herself, SA and their lifestyle rather than on finding her daughter... and this indicates some sort of knowledge of involvement of her disappearance or at least its cover-up.

After hearing about the discovery of child *advertiser censored*, I echo Tricia's sentiments... I AM MAD at BD for (if she really did not know about the images) allowing such a low life into her children's lives and for believing him over the FACTS. I will try not to name call... but two words keep coming into my mind... White Trash.

Geez, neither of them are working right now, they certainly aren't out looking for Hailey, passing out flyers or hanging up posters but yet sitting around the house all da*n day and all she can come up with is "she talked to him a little bit"...I tell you one thing, if it were me, SA and I would have been having a discussion that folks in Snyder could have heard!

You are right, if she already knew about the child *advertiser censored* and carp then there was no reason at all to discuss it. Yes, they, SA and BD, have hit a snag.

Pardon my crassness, but WTF is there to "discuss?" It's pretty cut and dried and black and white. I agree with teh. The discussion has more to do about damage control and CYA'in.

I have always felt that she knew more than what she is saying about what happened to HD.
I wanted to believe that she was covering for her bad parenting and not wanting to lose her job. Since she is not arrested right now for whipping SA's rear, I am guessing she knows waaaaayyyy more than she is letting on.

I can't get over the look on her face, and her cutting eyes, when she says this on the video. I don't get into facial expressions etc very much in these cases. It's a rare thing that I'll even comment on it. But this was just inescapable, and so pronounced.

She looked like she was just daring anyone to cross her, anyone to challenge her, anyone to dare question what she was stating. Agreement that "of course" Shawn didn't put the child *advertiser censored* on the memory stick is the only thing expected and permitted.

Unbelievable. She is so incredibly manipulative and controlling. I pity every single person around her, to have to be subjected to her games.

At the end of this clip, the reporter reads Clint's statement. The words don't make any more sense than they did before, but the way he emphasizes certain words, and the inflection make it almost unnoticeable.

imo it was on a traveling memory stick for both BD and SA's viewing pleasure....

I also believe the BD household xbox was used for viewing purposes....

That way BD and SA wouldn't drill him when he got home.

They heled prep CD.
CD is in a catch 22...he HAS to stay by BD & SA.

Of course not, Billie. We are all silly wabbits. We've forgotten about that "buy one flash drive, get hundreds of *advertiser censored* pix free" sale WorstBuy had a few months back.

I don't want to defend BJD, just sharing what happened to me. I had an ex, who I had no idea was into hard core *advertiser censored*. This was back in the day when we didn't have computers (mid 80's). I married at 21. Well, he hid it really well, until the day I opened the trunk of his car and found a plethera of magazines (including chidren). This stuff had nothing on Playboy - trust me. I almost vomited! The sleuther in me decided to find out what the hell was going on (following him, etc). He was having sex with his customers (free mechanic work, in exchange for sex), and even bonking a neighbor close by. Luckily I got out of there with only 1 curable STD! I divorced his arss, and took him for every penny I could get - I tortured him! Since he bought those magazines, I didn't even think about them being illegal. In any case, I do think it's possible for someone you love and trust to pull the wool completely over your eyes. But my greatest gift of all? He got penis cancer some years later! He's since remarried, become a so-called Christian, but I wouldn't trust him with children or pets (he couldn't have any children - God made sure of that).

So what gets me -- is if BD knew the memory stick was in the house. Any sane woman would want to know what the heck is on it. Once I suspected by ex no stone was unturned. Privacy was non-existent. I moved out one weekend that he was gone and took everything but the kitchen sink!

So what...did BJD turn a blind eye? She can't be that naive (as Marc Klaas said).
