I sure wouldn't like to have that kind of marital relationship and my husband and I don't even though both of us were married once before and both brought assets into our marriage. I believe when someone becomes married everything they have should be shared equally as one unit. I don't believe in one account for one and other accounts for the other one. That is not what a marriage is truly supposed to be about, IMOO. Who would marry someone they didn't trust explicitly anyway?

That seems to be more like an arrangement rather than a marriage.

Just my beliefs only though.

IMO
I think it happens more in divorced marriages when the husband or wife feels (right or wrong) that they were unfairly cleaned out so to speak in the divorce. Whether they trust the spouse in the second marriage or not those feeling stick around for awhile.

I know it is all to do with one's own perceptions but the rope seems to be very floppy to me.

Even the smallest mil extension cord still isn't all that flexible to make such angles as seen, imo.

IMO
Yes it is perception, and it could be that idea was put in my head early on and I can't shake it, but I do see what you mean about the cord and coupling that in with questers picture of the dog training device makes me look at it with an optional perception. thanks

Honestly, it needs to be confirmed. Radaronline reported an insider said LE does not think it is a suicide. I should have said that. I tend to believe that part of their reporting is accurate. They claimed also that the hands and feet were bound together - that I'm not sure of.

I don't think LE ever thought it was a suicide but they couldn't say it was impossible. Better if they had just said we haven't ruled out anything except it is a violent, suspicious and undetermined death as that suicide v. homicide meme started spreading like wildfire?

time,

Thanks!! Yes, I read the article yesterday. Here's a new article for today:

http://www.radaronline.com/exclusives/2011/08/jonah-shacknai-dead-girlfriend-no-suicide-note

didn't write a suicide note

Cops are trying to determine if Rebecca's death was a suicide, or murder though. "No suicide note has been found. If Rebecca did indeed kill herself, she didn't leave a note," our source says.

Oh goodness now that makes me question their 'source':banghead: and also makes me wonder if they are just putting their own spin on it to keep their viewers interested.

Women that commit suicide do not always leave notes. In fact a poster but up some info yesterday, iirc, that more MEN leave suicide notes than females.

Maybe women want their loved ones to wonder why they did it. Who really knows. But just because no note was left behind means nothing.

IMO

IF, if, if RN had received a severe physical beating prior to death, wouldn't we see some signs of bruising on her body (even despite the fussiness of the photos)?

Argosy University - it's mostly an online University (probably with a lot of small satellites). I'm surprised she didn't just go to a more prestigious campus since she had the money to do that.

Very interesting point. Is this a for profit college?

Suicide accounts for relatively few deaths in the United States. False

Every seventeen minutes, someone in the United States commits suicide. Each day approximately 86 Americans commit suicide, and 1,500 people attempt suicide. Suicide is the nation's eighth leading cause of death. For those 15-24 years of age, suicide is the third leading cause of death. More Americans, an estimated 31,000, kill themselves than are killed by homicide.

For every completed suicide, there are twenty-five attempted suicides. An estimated 750,000 suicide attempts annually affect the lives of millions of family members. The number of survivors grows 186,000 each year. For every suicide, at least six other people's lives are affected.

If there is no note, it was not a suicide. False

Approximately two thirds of those who commit suicide do not leave a note.

We have no idea why he married her to be honest, she has no kids, she wanted them when they married but my Dad said no, and they are still together, she is early 50's now and it's not a good situation for her but if she wants to be Mrs. so and so this badly (to put up with that), that is her problem. My Mom didn't get much in their divorce (he didn't have much at that time). I think he just thinks this younger wife is a trophy and a gold digger and treats her as such. It's her choice to stay. She also quit her (mid level/decent paying) job to be Mrs. Boss man.

I have a totally equal marriage and cannot imagine asking for money, or asking for anything. I totally agree they do not have a 'marriage' and the poor wife is the only one that can't see that.

Would the autopsy show if she was strangled with the blue scarf then hung? Or because it happened (hypothetically) so close in time to each other the autopsy could not tell if she were strangled with the scarf then hung? Why just the scarf and no other clothes? The whole thing is mind boggling!

BBM - short answer is yes, ME would be able to tell if strangled first then hung.

Good discussions on this issue with input from ME brother of pferrin (if I remember correctly) in previous threads.

That white object on the ground near/under the table almost looks like a cordless telephone. The grey/black portion of the object looks as though it could be the screen. It would make sense to me that someone, presumably Adam, may have had a telephone in his hand with which to call 911, then laid it down or dropped it nearby as he attempted to resuscitate Rebecca.

I wont expend on this any firther at this time, but I wish Inobu was here to 'throw' ideas off of!! Where are you by the way??

Yes Inobu, where are you??? Come out of hiding, some of us enjoy hearing your theories.

I would just like to know who the source is, especially since this one doesn't say LE sources, but the last report did. Radar can afford to pay for its sources, but sometimes u also get with that, sources who are greedy and may try to appear they have some inside knowledge.

I've always wondered that myself... Why just a scarf on her neck and nothing else. Doesn't make sense.

Good thinking Cleo!

It does look like it could be a cordless phone.

And, it certainly makes more logical and functional sense than my (doggie training) dummy idea.

ETA: So... white cordless phone probably came from the kitchen. Door was unlocked or AS had the key? No alarm sounded? Alarm not set the night before? AS knew the alarm code?

This is going around Coronado:

On Tuesday night/Wednesday morning that RN died, "some time after midnight" JS left DS (at hospital) to "go for coffee" and didn't return "for about an hour."

They had already been told that MS would not survive his injuries.

DISCLAIMER: I used to live in Coronado, this was told to me by someone who still does live there, and while questioning that person, I learned this information was 3rd hand from "the family." Which family? My source didn't know. Said "family" views JS with suspicion.

It's like playing telephone. Any one of the points above may be totally incorrect, but it's all I've been able to glean (that is not already known.)

Lots of interconnections

It is hoped that pharmaceutical companies will use TGen's research to pursue research into drug therapies. Explains Stephan, "It's easier to couple a drug to a problem when you under-stand what's wrong."

Southwest Autism Research Center (SARRC basically)...

Jonah Shacknai ... donated $100,000 from his foundation called Noah's Family Foundation (2)

"That served as a challenge grant to inspire others at the breakfast
to pledge generously," said Denise Resnick, co-founder of the nonprofit research organization in Phoenix.

...The center is one of five U.S. clinical centers to conduct a study of the use of secretin, made by Needham, Mass.-based Repligen Corp., in children with autism.

The company released its results yesterday, finding that three doses
of secretin produced a statistically significant clinical response in a
subset of autistic children, said Walter Herlihy, president and chief
executive of Repligen.

...Raun Melmed ... co-founder of SARC and co-medical director, said
he was encouraged to hear that the use of secretin could be efficacious in
certain subsets of autistic children. He said Repligen officials also hinted
that they've identified a specific marker, which can determine which
children will respond to the drug.

The company is not ready to reveal the marker until it gets a patent,
Melmed said.

I was asking because it sounds like she has a few marbles loose when reading about her relationship with JS. Being a psycologist, I am surprised she behaved in that manner.

Anyone that repeatedly raises their voice near the owner of a protective German Shepherd, that has bitten them on several occasions, has a variety of "issues". Has this been sleuthed :tipsy:?

She got her degree from an online university. Check for yourself.
(Don't beat me! Don't beat me! :D I am just providing the facts without any value judgement.)

I believe she attended the Phoenix location of Argosy, but still .... why?
