If you want to say RN committed suicide go ahead but look at her mug shot..RN was strong willed.

I very much think there is a possibility that Rebecca would have committed suicide, it can happen to anyone. But the circumstances are extremely unusual, for a suicide theory. She had pretty much a day or two, to realize her life had come to an end. If she was upset, why tell your sister that you love and trust that you'll call in the morning with an update? Why did DS's boyfriend's daughter post for everyone to pray for Maxie, if everyone (mom dad bf gf) knew he was already gone? And if this happened to my child, would I give up hope within a day or two? Don't miracles happen all the time? Wouldn't you have hope that something could change or they would see some brain activity? All I'm saying is with all due respect, the time between the accident and Rebecca's death was too short to process all this IMO. IF she did commit suicide, I feel for her and her family, and for everyone that has been involved in this case. But if she did NOT, I hope she receives the justice that she deserves.

And I'm sorry, but there is truth in figure heads being able to buy what they need or want. The Pharmaceutical Industry is no different. The truth of the matter is JS is well connected in many arenas and has the money to back it up. I'm not saying JS did this, I do not know if he did anything, he might just be using his influence to make the whole thing disappear. Or using it to help someone that is linked to him, because by him not doing anything to make it go away, it will continue to haunt Medicis (and therefore him).

Just my two cents. Take it for what it's worth. I'm sure my opinion will be shot down soon.

I respect your opinion but I'm not sure I understand the basis for it. People do pray for miracles. Maxie wasn't gone at the time of Rebecca's death so I don't find it at all unusual that his loved ones were asking for prayers for him during those long days.

If Jonah had as much influence as you believe, then there would be no criminal investigation to begin with at all. There are multiple agencies involved in this investigation. Kinda hard to make it all go away at this point. If anything, his money and influence are why cops are investigating it so vigorously.

In my experience, the rules are the same as far as the media and police are concerned. Neither is going to allow the rich and famous dictate what they do or say. Media have to work with LE on an ongoing basis and are not about to pizz them off because police will stop giving them anything at all. And neither is going to intentionally allow a crime be swept under the rug.

The police initially didn't say they are investigating a criminal act, they have said they were investigating suspicious circumstances of her death and now, weeks later, the police are going off the record to tell the media their investigation is leaning to suicide. So I guess LE found more to go on than a blurry, aerial photo of her body after it was cut down.

Where did LE go off the record? They have not said one word where did you get that from?

His company's PR team is to protect the company. That is totally separate from Rebecca's death at this point because we don't even know if there was a crime involved. Most media relations experts are former reporters, btw.

PR firms don't control the cops and have no control over what is written by the media about Rebecca's death or even about the company. All the PR firm controls are the media's access to JS as well as public statements made by JS whether it is to the media or investors.

I just notice something. You account fall in line with the article written a few days ago which is incorrect.

Initially, LE stated suicide and the public took exception to it. It did not happen the way the article and you presented it.

Your off record comment can only be attributed to that article as there has not been any other article written as such.

Saturday citing sources “who have knowledge of the investigation” of the Spreckels mansion mystery said that detectives are “reasonably confident” that the death of Rebecca Zahau was a suicide.
