I guess Im just too into empirical, factual, hard evidence...but there sure is alot of "gut feelings" On this thread ready to give SA and BD sentencing!
I mean obviously it doesnt look good for SA. BUT as someone else also pointed out..anyone could come up with a plan to move the body to this spot to point suspicion more to SA. His whereabouts from 12-27 to the time he moved to austin are household knowledge here in this part of the state!
I understand having a gut feeling, i really do..but i dont think we know enough to curse these ppl just yet do we?? We'd feel pretty awful if evidence proves it isnt eiter of them.
Now...that being said..again, it aint lookin to hot for SA.
I understand your concerns. I don't want to see a witch hunt either. But so many of us have been here reading everything little detail about this case from day one. And nobody focused solely on Shawn at the start. There were always questions about neighbors, RSO's, the girls house she was supposed to go to, other family members. But Shawn just couldn't get out of his own way. And neither could billie. There were just so many circumstances that pointed back at them. Have you read any of the posts he made at his serial killer website. The place he special ordered his leather serial killer masks?
There was one post that we brought over here back then. He said to his friends on that horror film site: [ paraphrased]
"Has anyone ever wondered what it would feel like to just snap and go on a killing spree"
He got no love from the other members so he said just kidding...
Have you seen any of his pictures wearing his leather masks?
I am 60 yrs old, have kids and lots of relatives, many of them collectors of weird things and fans of horror films. But I don't know anyone who is obsessed with having one of a kind leather serial killer masks custom made to fit their faces, like Shawn did. And he could not even pay his own bills. His mom paid his cell bill, he used Billies car and lived off her, and his money went to horror film mementos. And drugs apparently.
But mainly there are huge question and concerns about his actions that day. Look at his movements and his behavior, and you have to question his innocence. Let alone that he himself has said " I was the last one to see her." Those are his own words.
And that lone text she supposedly made that day? Really? She was 13, home from school alone on a vacation day. She had the cell phone. And are we to believe that she only made one measly unanswered text all day? And no other calls were made. So why not? Was that normal for her? I don't think so. I don't know any 13 yr old girls who would sit home alone with a cell phone and call nobody all day. And he wants us to believe that she left to walk to a sleepover, even tho she never got a reply to her text? Girls don't do that, imo. They wait to confirm because it is very humiliating to go somewhere uninvited. She would not just go on over without having talked or texted someone to make sure it was happening. She had never slept over there before, so it wasn't a routine thing. So I do not believe Shawns version of her story.
Besides, she would not have gone walking to a sleepover without taking some of her money and her hoodie. I am sure they planned to go out and do something like Burger King or bowling or something that needs some cash.
I just will never believe she left at 3 pm in sweats and flip flops, with no money, and planned to go out for the whole night. She liked boys. She was going to see boys that night. She would have taken a cuter outfit with her, imo.
So his story is hogwash.
