I have been thinking the past few days about George and his reactions in court. I agree with you. My face would have been twisted in anger if anyone accused me of molesting, sexually abusing them, or abusing Caylee and drowned her. I would not be able to sit in court and listen to that bull without getting very upset.

And for the payment? Funny how all of a sudden, NBC owns the right to the first video. I am sure CA called in her friend from NBC to copyright it.

bbm I really wonder about this....you see, the copyright to those videos belongs to CASEY ANTHONY. unless she sold them, NBC cannot possibly hold the copyright.


not that I am saying that she did, although I am wondering. but no way does CA or anyone else get to copyright a video that was made by OCA and it belongs to her alone.

eta: as far as the first one anyways, the second I really believe that it was recorded from a skype call in which case that would belong to both OCA and whomever was recording the skype. only they cannot sell it or use it for sales without her written permission.

Wow, if that is true, it means Casey doesn't give two chits about the motion in the Zenaida case right now and neither do her lawyers. Just wow. That takes some balls right there. What civil cases? Or maybe they're preparing to just settle and not go to court with it. Something is up.

The entire lot of them have always felt as though they are teflon; Casey and her Attorneys alike.

This latest move doesn't really surprise me.

As for Casey settling her case, I'm not sure Morgan would be satisfied with that. For them, this is about much more than monetary gain. They are determined to get Casey on that stand and talk, even if she pleads the 5th each time. The Jury will then make the determination based on her refusal to answer.

Hopefully there are only 12 people who can't think for themselves and they're all from Pinellas County.

I really think George and Lee have convinced themselves that the allegations were something that had to be done to help her not get the death penalty. There hasn't been any charges against either of them since, and I don't think there will be. Maybe they even think Casey will never accuse them of molestation again. I guarantee you, though, if her life is on the line again, guess who's getting put back in the line of fire for her? They don't get how expendable they are to her. And because of that, they believe they're safe from her and can forgive her. That is the only way I can see them forgiving her if they believe it was a necessary thing to save Casey's life. I'm sure many times over the three years they were reminded by Cindy and the DT that Casey's life was on the line. And I bet they were allowed to dispute it and express their feelings with the reminder that it wasn't going to last forever. And is she grateful for their sacrifice for her? I haven't seen any gratefulness from her so far. Yet all of them seem to want to welcome her back into their lives. I just don't believe that George wouldn't. That whole family redefines the word dysfunctional, seriously.

Watching those videos from the jail with the parents will show you who was in control. Casey runs the show. Her mother and father are afraid of her. Cindy will never admit that. I will also say that cindy suspected from day one that Caylee had died. She chose to live in denial and play the game. She didn't want to believe it ... but she knew.

I will scream this from the rooftops. Cindy could have called her car in stolen on day one if she thought Caylee was alive. She knew at some level that Caylee had passed and chose to ignore it till she had no choice. When her car got impounded, she was forced to call LE. If you notice, she didn't do it till she spoke with her darling daughter and even after that it took many hours of which she danced around Caylee being missing. She called in two other things first.

All this looking for an "alive' Caylee was a farce from this sick family. Cindy played the public and played the prosecution. Not many saw it coming when they watched cindy on the stand that first week. These types are good....real good. They can trick the best.

For any man to sit in that courtroom and not show a sign of distress when JB spoke of his body part in the mouth of his young daughter, shows low moral character. He didn't even squirm. He was prepared...and was willing to fall on the sword for FCA. Sick! I will never get over this opening statement. Sick, depraved, disgusting...and George does nothing. Cindy won. She came out unscathed and she and GA are now wealthy. Her dream has come true.

I was told this morning that the National Enquirer has purchased all of Casey's videos and pictures.

They will be released in 4 weeks; no details yet on the purchase price.

do we have any MSM links regarding that? or where did you read it?

not that I dont trust you, I just dont know if I can trust your source.

I agree. For some reason the A's focused all of their anger and frustration on LE and the SA instead of KC. I think because she was arrested and placed in jail and then re-arrested together with the un-willingness of LE to believe the A fantasy story drove them crazy.

The A's are/were used to controlling these issues within the family and were not used to it being handled by LE and SA ... so were offended.

This became worse when she was charged with the DP, so I agree this was all about saving KC's life which became the theme as well as lashing back against LE, SA, the State, the FBI, the Government, etc, etc.

As was stated, blood is thicker than water and the A's wanted to deal with this privately within the family and not have one of their own dealt with in this way for many reasons, such as family image but also to exact their own passive-aggressive punishment, etc.

They played a clever game at trial both to seem to support the SA so as not to alienate the Jury as well as support the DT and seed enough confusion and reasonable doubt to save KC. They were also conflicted, thus GA was bizarre in that he seemed so offended by the accusations yet played fast and loose with the duct tape testimony to self-implicate.

And so, here we are today with these video diaries that are so bizarre because it is as if nothing ever happened ... Caylee who?

You know, for me it so boils down to just a few bullet points that you have so succintly put forth in your post. That is it .. in a nutshell. But when we are caught up in the Anthonyland, it is as if aliens have come down and shot our brains full of .... something...because it becomes sooooooooooo easy to get drawn into the drama. Nothing makes sense, and everything makes sense. WOW. Just WOW. The thought of living in that mess makes me all the more thankful I live in my own skin, here in my world, and not the Anthony Twilight Zone.

It would make sense as to why the second video is only nine seconds long and has not been fully released to the public. Why would that be? Casey only owns the rights to that video as long as she hasn't sold those rights to another entity that plans to release them in the future. Rob H has lawyered up and clammed up. Maybe he received a cease and desist. Why else wouldn't he be careful not to release the second video as he did the first.

while technically true, it's not that simple and there are quite a few other things that have to be true in order to do this, almost certainly NONE of those things that need to be true WOULD be true (FFS is anyone on this planet still dumb enough to not change the router password?) so it's like he's writing bad fiction. unimpressed. sometimes I deplore the media.

BBM, not only changing the password, but it's quite easy to make the wireless router invisible to the outside world. A hacker could park in my driveway and they would not be able to see my router. They would be able to pick up the signal from the wireless broadband radios that blanket this little town, but even if they managed to get into that, they'd still not be able to see my personal network.

If Casey is on a router and is broadcasting her router signal to the world outside, she or whoever is in charge of her "security" are asking for someone to catch a piggy back ride on their network.

ITA - but IIRC, GA and CA were allowed as witnesses to attend the trial as long as they did not show emotion up in their seats (as all spectators are told). As JA mentions in his book, they were both prepared in advance for the opening statement having been given a heads-up by the state. I know his reactions were not all that convincing in court, but to be fair, they were both told to avoid facial expressions or outbursts during testimony in order to not influence the jury (not that we needed to worry about THAT). I'm not arguing all of the sword-falling that was done on the stand, but I just want to be fair about how they reacted on camera in the audience and perhaps why.

There had to be something in it for them for the National Enquirer to pay for these videos and pictures.

The "mystery" behind the remaining supposed 9+ minutes of the 2nd video would be enough for them as well as other videos Casey has reportedly done, not counting her nude photos.

We all know that Casey isn't bright, but how she can not see that this is doing nothing to improve her image is baffling to me. She's portraying everything Baez stated she was in that court room in terms of being a "smut".

LDB had hundreds of checks written by KC at the trial. Also presented was a BOA credit card that had been max'd out which CA claims had been paid off and she was not aware KC was charging on that card. I never read anywhere that KC had, in fact, hacked into their bank account. Had that happened I believe BOA could have gone after KC themselves. jmo

Apparently Cindy was aware that she was paying her phone bill with Cindy's account and allowed. She even put money in that account and paid for overdrafts that were made by KC. Cindy was aware this was going on and stopped it in April. BOA is not going to go after her if Cindy is okay with it. And Maybe hacked is the wrong word, although I think it works. She had her account number and used it.
