I wish TR would get back to the testimony instead of trying to decipher girl talk-note passing.

Let me get this straight. The "mitigation specialist" is not permitted to sit at the defence table and gossip with the defendant but they are allowed to pass notes like school girls? In Canada, the defendant sits in a glass box and can't talk to anyone other than their lawyer, via in house speaker phone. You guys need more of THAT in your courtrooms.

DR was not having sexual intercourse. But there was regular sexual contact during 2004. spend nights at each other's homes. DR would feel guilty at times. She did not talk to her Bishop about it in 2004. DR not aware that TA did either.

Sounds as though Deanna's family really didn't like Travis and he knew how important her family was to her. I suppose he couldn't imagine marrying her, knowing that her family wouldn't approve of him. I wonder why they didn't like him?

I didn't get that interpretation at all. All he said is her family was her first priority rather than him.

How is that saying DRs family didn't like Travis?
