You are correct. I am currently reading Jane Valez-Mitchell's book "Exposed/The Secret Life of Jodi Arias." The sixth chapter details how Deanna was moving to Phoenix, AZ in order to keep her job with the same company she was employed with in CA. Travis decided to move to Arizona then as well.

Beth reported that TA told Deanna her family didn't like him, she agreed with him.

I think what they didn't like was they weren't getting married. Her parents are probably Mormon too but I bet they liked Travis as a person but just not as a boyfriend for Deanna.

If he had asked her to marry him though she would have said 'yes' even if her parents didn't like him, imo.

I think it already has. JW just showed the jury how NORMAL TA was in his LONG TIME relationship with Deanna. They waited yrs to start having sexual contact. They spoke of marriage but had family concerns and decided against it. But remained close friends. Nobody got stabbed or shot.
