Why does Nurmi attack JDs resume? Just because she is young does not mean she can't be a psychologist with a PhD.

It's especially ridiculous because she is well educated and actually licensed to practice in Arizona. Unlike any of the defense witnesses.

No. It is the "Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders" which sets the standards and protocols of illness criteria, diagnostics and coding for MH Clinicans in the field of Psychology and Psychiatry.

Because, in the end, it's just a game of semantics that doesn't really matter (as it pertains to the validity of a given diagnosis or of whether such a disorder/"illness" absolves an individual of personal responsibility for their crimes), and Dr. Demarte knows to choose her battles rather than follow Nurmi down the rabbit hole and inadvertently give the impression that his arguments have significance.

The instability of her folks marriage- dad working a lot, not being nice to wife about her weight or understanding- if they were unhappy with each other could be enough to trigger this. A young mother not attending to an infants needs appropriately could trigger this as well, from what I understand, as well as the temperament of the infant or child too.

That is interesting, because this is the first time I am sure that the Arias family has been painted the full picture of what Travis endured and who he really was. And what Jodi's past boyfriends went through to rid themselves of her.

Whether or not the jury thinks she's mentally ill or not isn't as important as whether or not they feel sympathy for her. Don't think they will. She's giving them endless reasons to loathe her.

Lots of triggers...one that somehow stands out is when CFJA learned that TA was taking Mimi to Cancun? That certainly had to trigger some massive negative emotions .

Is there any proof of those things other than JA's word? If anything, I would bet that any problems they may have had in their marriage came from having to deal with JA on a daily basis. Once she moved out I imagine that any and all tension in that household (unless one of her siblings is just like her) went away with her.

That is an excellent point, however I think they have been the target of JA's disdain and wrath for much, much longer and could most likely put the puzzle pieces together themselves, given what they know of her.

IN Pa BPD changed to serious MH dx ( SMI) within the last 9 months...This allows borderlines to receive sttae paid case mangement services...IMO anyone I speak with, including myself, who gets a BPD dx person..first sighs sighs and says Oh crap...get ready for the roller coaster ..Definitely a big need to set boundaries and limits or they will drain one emotionally

yes, I read that when in a counseling session with one who is dx BPD, that they have a 2nd counselor with them to make sure the one is not duped by the client.
