The questions reflect to some extent what Beth said last Thursday evening. Nurmi was able to turn a prosecution witness into a defense witness and as maddening as it is, he did a pretty good job.

I don't think this has anything to do with Nurmi's job on Demarte. This person has already made up their mind. This person asks many questions of this nature of every single witness.

Why do you think that?

I am never sure why the questions are asked in the manner of which they are. We have tried to guess the meaning of jury questions before in other cases and when the trial ended it had no bearing on the case like we thought it did at the time.
