Surely the defense knew this was going to happen...they saw him do it to every witness they put up
Why even put him back up to trash the victim and DeMarte? They knew it'd piss Juan off and now look what he's doing to silly Doc Geff

I'm not a lawyer, but it seems Nurmi wanted to paint this picture of DeMarte being illegal, but he didn't want to be the one to do it.

Is that on the brink of Nurmi suborning perjury? Skating on thin ice? Any other metaphor we can think of?
