I wonder when that video was taken? He has a wedding band on already? I see he has Haleigh written along his back and Teresa on his chest. He seems to be in good spirits showing off his tattoos.

This sounds like something a pastor would say and we do know he has been counseling with the pastor on a regular basis. I don't read more into it.

I also noticed he used "married" in the past tense when he wrote on the yellow balloons before the last LE presser which took place days before the "wedding". Maybe the wedding was something they did due to media pressure?

What did he write?
 
I would have to look it up to be specific, but it was something about them being married on the balloon. It showed the balloon in a photo. Ronald and Crystal wrote messages to Haleigh on their balloons before the release.

What does this last one sound to you? He doesn't say "to find that my child was missing", "that Haleigh was gone", "that there was no trace of Haleigh", "that nobody knew where Haleigh is".

Does this sound like a comment from a father who still has hope, or the comment of a father who has no hope and has started grieving already? The wording suggests to me that he knows.

Sounds like someone who is speaking colloquially. However, to the other point: Finding out one's child is missing, I can imagine one searches a way to make sense of it all. Would I have used the word "Grief" in the report? No. But then, I figure words are important enough to find the right ones to convey the correct message. When Ron explains further that it's not like someone stole his bike, I just kind of went "........uh. okay."

We have a neighbor who sees Ron with Misty and the children and he says that he has seen nothing like drugs or violence. He has said time in and time out that they appear to be a normal family who love those kids. It makes me wonder who has the agenda and why?

Now we questions that Ron purchased that ring with funds for Haleigh. I read where it has been said this ring has been handed down through the family. It's about half way down in this article.

After Crystal went on National TV and said those things that's when Ron stopped talking to them. He withdrew which I really don't blame him for. The Press want the dirt, he just wants his daughter.

In saying that, as for Ron asking Misty to marry him, it wasn't broadcast like people are saying. He asked on Sat and the press found out on Monday. I think they did do it quietly but because it was Ron people make it out to be something it isn't. IMO Ron is just really lost right now and has to do something, anything to make things right. There is nothing wrong with that.

I don't see them getting married in the truck on the way. There was a rumor the Pastor drove them, but I never saw it confirmed.
 
If they got the marriage licence on Monday, is it even possible for them to have been married earlier? Isn't the licence required? And can you get one if you're not single? I don't know how the marriage laws in Florida work but I don't really see the point of getting married on the sly. I mean, the reasons why they'd want to keep their marriage secret are obvious given the reaction the timing has caused, but why would they then stage a wedding that is not much better timing-wise?
 
Sorry if this has already been announced, but I'm watching Headline News, and the previews for tonight's Nancy Grace state that RC will be a guest and do an interview.

The Ron C/Nancy Grace thread is locked-???

I thought it was painful-I loved the position that Mark Klaas took where he twice addressed Ron directly and stated firmly that until the police could eliminate family (specifically Misty) they could not concentrate on other aspects of the investigation, so that Ron needed to impress upon Misty the importance of continuing to cooperate. Ron sat up straight and agreed that she would continue cooperating. I have to believe that she will "lawyer up" soon if she has not already.

The other surprise I took in during the show was that after weeks of Misty claiming that she was not a suspect and that she had not stated any inconsistencies and that she did well on her LDT, the police refuted all of that.

I also thought that Nancy did a good impression of a "good cop" last night and managed to get a whole lot of detail out of Ronald regarding the events of the evening. JMO.
 
I watched the show as it aired..8pm and them again at 10 pm..and got up in the night to watch it again at 3 am...because I had to let the interview sink in. I tried to call in with no luck. I wanted to know what MC was wearing when she met him at the door.

I feel is that NC was not her "usual self." She did not try to get some facts from RC that are missing in the story . If you listen to her talking to him she gave him an "out" at the end of almost each question. This was weird to me.

As far as RC. I think he was going to try and show everyone that he is a nice guy. It worked for him at first but eventually the "real RC" came out.

Why wasn't MC there? Why the mom?

When RC was given advice to try and get MC to help investigators with the truth. RC had no reaction?

I can't understand why RC can't go back into the home? Do you?

Just my opinion.
 
One of the early interviews of Ronald in the yard.

He keeps saying over and over someone took my child while I was at work making an honest living to support my child on my own. Someone left the back door open. (He did not say both doors were open, he just said back door. Now, we have learned that both doors will automatically close if nothing is in the way to prop them open. So, I will assume that the door that was closed didn't make a sound when the perp took Haleigh out the back doors.) He also states he plans to take the trash out when it's time. (To me he was referring to who took Haleigh.)

He also states that's he will finish that person when he gets his child back.

He claims he did get Haleigh off the school bus in this interview and left to work after. He keeps saying somebody has her hidden as well. It's almost as he knows who may have her. If you look at this video look at his hand! He looks all scratched, like if he got into a fight or was in a rose bush.

Yes, I did notice a scratch on his hand. I hope that LE examined both R and M for scratch marks or any other signs of an altercation immediately. R was really over the top in that interview, offering more threats of violence than pleas for the safe return of Haleigh. The entire interview doesn't ring true IMO.
