according to the booking/inmate details he was released at 1:12:36 PM

 
I want to make sure I am listening to the same video - when I click on that link I get Joy Purdy and Jessica Clark talking about it - No Sheriff but Rick Ryan from PCSO talks - no where does it state anything about the Croslin's not being arrested - or about RC attacking anyone.

video of press conference from the sheriffs office is on the right. The sherriff states that the reason the Croslin's were not arrested is because of multiple witnesses states that Ron attacked them.

PorcineGranny didn't say he threatened anyone with a gun. In the police report, the officer makes mention that Ronald is known to carry a gun.

Facts? No, that is the Croslins side of the story The only fact we know is they were at Gma Sykes house in the middle of the night. Why didn't Hank want to sign the report?
 
Am I the only one who thinks that Misty will be persuaded to press charges on her brother and father for "supposedly" hitting her in the face? I'm betting that she will, just to support Ron's claims.

everyone should listen to the news conference it is quite enlightening, it sounds to me like Misty and Ronald had a fight...Also interesting comment at the end from a reporter that states they have a member of LE on record stating they are tired of the "soap opera" this case has turned into.

ETA LE would not confirm or deny that comment was made.

She did last night, they were turned over to the SA. Did you read the bottom of the article?
 
I am thinking that RC will make sure she does lonetraveler.....so sad....

It would be just great if Misty would tell the truth about Haleigh and about Ron. IMO, she is afraid of her own safety if she spills the beans.

my apologies it is not the sherriff, but Rick Ryan. And the video has changed. It was only the press conference. A reporter asks something to the affect of why weren't all 3 people arrested and his response was about multiple witnesses.
 
Ok ty - I thought I was losing it because I wasn't hearing anything you posted lol. Wonder if the original video is somewhere to be found cause I missed it.

You see, I don't think it's a sad thing. I HOPE Misty charges someone in her family for something because all that will do is put more pressure on everyone involved in this situation.

We need these people to be under pressure so that someone may speak up about Haleigh and what happened to her. This may just be the beginning of that. Maybe.
 
I don't understand why everyone thinks Misty is so frightened of Ronald. Sure he yells and cusses a lot but did I miss something somewhere about why Misty is so afraid of him? Everyone keeps stating that they are thinking that Misty is afraid for her own safety, seriously I know all about what abused women go through....I freed myself a lot of years ago. I have not heard a thing from Misty about being abused though and she did after all marry him, am I missing something?
 
Wow!! So many different opinions about this, it's amazing. I wonder why people can't just use common sense and take it for what it's worth. Ron was the only one arrested, which tells me he was at fault. Misty should be ashamed of herself... she apparently made a cry for help, her family swooped in to protect her and she changed her story. Typical. According to my son, this happens in a lot of cases. Once the cops show up, the battered wife says he didn't mean to do it, it's not what it looks like, he didn't mean to hurt me, I fell against something. I could go on, but you get the picture.
Does anyone think it's possible that Ron threatened them with a gun at some point? I say this because in the deputy's narrative, it says it should be noted that Ronald carries a gun at all times, etc. Interesting.
 
If this doesn't prove that he can be violent and out of control human, I wonder what it will take to convince those who attest to his good virtues and insist he is a great father and they have no concerns or worries concerning him.

RC, aside from being dysfunctional, had control and responsibility for two tiny children (one an infant and the other barely a toddler). There was no secure home provided for them. They were shuffled from house to house and various young girls providing their care in exchange for sex and living arrangements.

Another poor decision and we now have Haleigh gone, possibly forever. The good provider and excellent father beat up somebody who came over because his wife wanted to leave. If this is an example of his parenting and self-control, I don't think I want to see what he is like behind closed doors any longer. My imagination has gone to the dark scary place.
