OK, I got curious. Can someone help me- or point me to a website where I can find out how many currently missing people there are in each city? I picked three random cities- ok almost random! This is the 2012 population...

Tallahassee, FL population: 186,971
Myrtle Beach, SC population: 28,292
Macon, GA population: 91,234

I have always wondered if it is finding pleasure and humor in others pain, or if it is just the feeling of control and power some people get when taunting others that is found pleasurable by some. Thinking out loud.....I suppose it depends on the individual.

I think a little of both, satisfaction in the power and knowledge they have over others. The taunting is in a sense bragging to me.

I've thought this all along too and even posted it somewhere in all the threads. It was perfect timing, most of her friends were out of town for Christmas break. She was all alone. Thankfully she called her roommate!

Not to mention she didn't have to be at work until Friday which meant she had Thursday off at both jobs, unless I missed that part. IMO the perp most likely knew her schedule and that BW was out of town.

Ok been getting caught up and something is gnawing at me. We know that HE talked to her roomie and they talked about old, married [modsnip] or whatever we are calling him, so if O.M.[modsnip] (LOL I just cracked myself up with that) convinced HE to meet or whatever wouldn't you think that HE would at least text her roomie something like "[modsnip] won't stop pushing, gonna go meet him, wish me luck." Or something like that? Young girls share EVERYTHING that happens in their lives. I know that I did.

Clu- I swear I am not stalking you. I find myself thanking you on what seems everything you post- and I am not overly generous with my thanks! I laughed last night while on another thread and found that I'd thanked you three times in a row!

She was home alone, didn't have anywhere to be and if it was someone she trusted (per TE's theory) would it be a big deal if they knew where she lived and/or stopped over? Just curious.

That is how I have felt since day one. I never understood why she would cry over him saying he was leaving his wife unless there was more to the conversation. Like, maybe she was conflicted. She maybe had feelings. I honestly feel that she no one but her best friend knew about the affair and she swore her to secrecy. I think she told her she was going to meet him and told her not to tell anyone. But, I still don't think she is harmed even though so many do. Part of me doesn't want her to be, part of me can't say I guess (sorry didn't know about that rule), and part of me feels it in my gut.

I wonder if the date that night was a ploy... maybe HE wanted OM and this was a way to get his attention. I say this, b/c that's exactly what my 20 yr old sons ex-gf is doing... they've broken up after almost FIVE years together and she's dating some boy toy and posting pics of the two of them... it definitely has my sons attention, LOL!
