Here's a pretty neat site for boat ownership info, I looked up several relatives that own boats to check accuracy and it seems to be legit. Keep in mind it was last updated 11/13 but still a nice resource.

I believe she was lured, based on her cell phone activity and where it pinged that night, and the fact that her apartment did not appear to be disturbed (IIRC, I can't remember exactly where I read this) It's also pretty unlikely that she could have been forcibly taken from her apartment complex without someone noticing. She was a young woman in good physical condition and although she's a tiny little thing she would have put up a fight, I'm sure.

This, among other things, leads me to believe that she was lured to a meeting of some kind, and then met with foul play at the hands of someone(s) known to her, with whom she had a personal history.

I dont suppose the apartment complex has CCTV? In the entrance hall? Or even better, throughout the common property? ie hallways, stairwells, outer areas etc

Clarification: The last person VERIFIED to have spoken with HE through MSM and what we ARE allowed to speak of is the roommate. I was proving a point that things can change fast and the roommate may have a better understanding than the date. Just because he physically saw her and the roommate only spoke with her does not mean that his information is more credible.

I'd go so far as to say that we don't even know if that person was the last to speak with her.
Phone records may point to the last person Heather spoke to on the phone (and even then it only reveals what number she had contact with, we don't know who was on the other end) but until we receive more information we have no idea who the last person was that spoke to Heather. We just don't.

Good point. [modsnip]So we can't say for sure who was on the other line, nor can we say who last spoke with her in person-i.e. the person or persons responsible for her disappearance.

I believe the last person to see Heather could have very important info...Even if it is small..he could share her state of mind when he left her...Actually I find it unusual that he hasn't come forth...This case doesn't seem to have any new leads...If this guy has nothing to hide he should just come forth...but then again it seems I am the only one here that feels that way...This will become a cold case fast if every stone isn't turned !!!!!

As a single woman, who occasionally dates more than one man here and there, I can say that one man will not be privy to information about another that I date or dated. As for state of mind, it was a first date, how would he even know to compare her state of mind to ....what?
I just think unless he were a very close friend, he wouldn't have any answers anyway. IMO

Verified: Heather Elvis has been missing since - umm - Tuesday, no I meant, Wednesday, December 17th - umm - no, I meant, December 18th. Yes, Wednesday, the 18th (based on hearsay as we've not seen any supporting data).

Verified: HE's car was noticed parked at PTL on Monday - umm - no, sorry must have been a mistake - umm, nevermind we don't know for sure. But, it was discovered at PTL late in the day, umm, I think - on Thursday, December 19th. Yes, Thursday, the 19th.

Every detail is like pulling teeth. We know Heather is missing and that her car was found at PTL on December 19th.

We don't even know the last time she was at work. Some thought Sunday, I heard Tuesday, etc.
One (that be me) would think someone would be interested in narrowing down the most specific timeline possible as to her comings and goings leading up to her date.
I'd like to know if they drank a lot, if HE was high when she got home.
If she was 'happy' she may have been prone to wallow over emotional problems involving bfs when she turned 'sad'. Still, if her date went so well, why?
Maybe because you can't immediately go to cuddle mode with someone you just met?
Cuddling doesn't really match one of her other known options either.
Would it fit with another option that may have been available though?

After a successful date, why not fall into bed and go to sleep?
One reason is if someone was bugging you, true.
Was life always chaotic/dramatic like that or did something unique happen on December 17th that caused additional or renewed confusion?

Did her mom see her when HE picked her mail up on Tuesday prior to going on her date? Did HE share with her mom lots of info about her upcoming date?
Did she speak to her mom after her date ended because of her excitement earlier?

So many questions due to info that was put out in the beginning but just seemed to disappear. No confirmations or answers given.

Who contacted HE during or after her date? Was she contacted or did she?

From the little verified info I know (info with no facts attached - verifiable by phone data and possible other means that I haven't seen), there seems to be one logical scenario if the people/person involved are murderers despite the other situations going on in their lives.
I mean, is whoever nuts enough to trade salvageable parts of their life/lives in for life in prison? :dunno:

Or is someone watching this whole case play out (well, not play out as it hasn't yet) while sitting back thinking they have everyone fooled who is following this case including LE?

I'm hitting myself with a 2x4 for posting this, having said I'd leave it alone, but really, people!

Heather's date seemed like it went very well. She told her roommate so, she sent her dad a lovely photo of her on her date, she was happy and safe with him.

He has been cleared by LE. Cleared of any involvement! Please try to imagine how this poor young man feels! He must be devastated! This young man has been interrogated, gone through a lie detector, had the fingers of an entire town pointed at him...and has been cleared. Why on earth would he come forward to talk to the media?

If this was your son, would you want that, or would you seek counseling, give him family support and take advantage of any LE advice?

My heart goes out to him and his family, and I hope they stay anonymous.

IMO as I have stated repeatedly, LE has a POI and the data trail will be important, along with the first to crack. I will eat my hat if this is a SK or random attack. I do not base this on SM or anything posted on FB, it is MOO and, sadly, follows a classic pattern of human behavior.

IMO, from all accounts we know of, it sounds like Heather's date showed her a lovely time and respectfully brought her home safely. Heather seemed so excited about the nice time she had with him. I'm glad she got to experience that since it seems like other males in her life didn't treat her nicely. Feel sorry for her date. He probably really liked Heather and most likely wanted to see her again as well. He must miss her too.

Not sure if any verbal communications that took place initially are true. They very well may be but I don't think LE takes peoples' stories as fact until they analyze data and confirm times given and conduct more research.
None of us, that I know of anyway, have seen the meaningful police report.
The reports done following December 19th and 20th. Those reports contain all verifiable evidence. Plus phone pings and car search results.

Anybody know where the Dodge is now? Did LE leave it with TE or did they take the car into evidence?
