Just saw on FB reports of the car seen on I95, Wilson, Lumberton, and Stanley NC. Don't know if this is verified or accurate. Seen within the last 24/48 hours. If true, this is huge news.

If so, and it's them, it would explain why LE has shown zero interest. Like I said before, maybe they aren't missing. They're real jerks to leave their dog like that though, if they are fine and just went off the grid for a spell.

I suggested the family / people drive around and look for areas a car could have left the road without guardrails / etc... in case of someone not paying attention, swerving to avoid something, or having a medical issue.

I suggested they contact local dive shops and see if any experienced divers would volunteer to look in a few areas.

I wish I lived near the area, I'd spend my weekend driving around looking for potential places like that, but alas, I'm across the country and it's not feasible.

It's too bad they don't have an area where they were last seen that the boat with ultrasound technology could have checked out while that crew was in town looking for the missing fisherman. They found him, btw but his boat is still nowhere to be found. They also found several other boats, cars and even a car with a body - not related to either case - during the search for Mitchell Gibson - not all with this special boat and crew though. I had hoped while they were looking for him they might find something on this couple too. This crew searches for just the cost of lodging, fuel and oil so if the search for Kala and Carver ever turns to water maybe they can be brought back out.

Wow, that is huge. If this is correct this would turn this case completely on its head.
 
Sorry I just checked the FB page. They sound pretty confident it is his car. Just hope it is them driving it.

A bunch of people are reporting seeing the car off of 95 on a service road in Lumberton, NC, with no tires, up on blocks. All on FB. Can't remember if it's an open group or not, there are so many groups.

I know this is being investigated by the police but has not been verified as the car or not.

here's a new edit on the FB page: "detective has gotten SLED involved due to some area county's not wanting to cooperate and put a BOLO out for vehicle. We are thankful that SLED is stepping in to make sure these BOLO are put out."

SLED is I believe, like the state wide police agency. They will have better resources I think to look for our missing couple, let's hope they find something!
 
In regards to a comment on the FB post:
We're arm chair detectives until we solve a case. Then we're heroes.

Why would anyone be a hero 2 people are missing I would love to see that they were home safe but I do not see that period I see things always have since I was a child I live a life where I do not let many people in for a lot of reasons last night had a dream their is an old bridge in Anderson with a makeshift grave marker I talked to an old man he gave me a name A Cook its a woman but the tags on her car were customized what I'm tryin to say is if I told you I could see things what would you say your ****in nuts

What kind of bridge was it?
 
I'm just catching up. Without having to check 4 or 5 FB can anyone tell me why they think it is his car. Was plate on it, mirror damaged or just a matching style?

There are suggestions that some of the NC sightings were of a car matching the description, with one commenter saying that they saw the LSU decal, and another one claiming that the tag matched, however, I don't think it's official (I don't think the reports have been positively confirmed by either family; if so, I've not seen it).

It seems like many people have seen a car matching the description (I don't know if it is just a white Grand Prix or what other identifying characteristics it has) on blocks on a service road in Lumberton, NC.

I'm hoping so much that it leads to something. These families need peace. I cannot even imagine what every moment of their days must be like right now. I'm sure that none of them have had a good night sleep in months.

Someone just posted that they were found on FB. I just about freaked out when I saw my notifications, then I realized it was FB and could be a troll...It's on the Missing Charlie Carver and Kala Brown page (public). Doesn't seem to be anyone related to the case, but who knows.
