Observation from a local South Carolinian, we have a lot of insects, specifically the palmetto bug. Leaving dirty dishes in the lowcountry is slack and lazy.

Oh most definitely!!! You can have the cleanest house in the world and those things always find a way into your house! To people who don't know what a Palmetto Bug is, it's about the size of a 1973 Cadillac. They are huge and they have a thick, hard coating of armor that makes them exceptionally hard to kill. They are fast buggers too! Waaaay bigger than your average cockroach and 100x harder to kill. They can get into just bout everything, no matter how clean and careful you are. They are harmless though. They don't bite and generally stay away from people and lights. But if you leave food out, they are going to find it. It's gross that they didn't put food away or at the very least put it in the fridge.

OT slightly, but I grew up in Virginia and the military took my family down to Louisiana, where I was very rudely introduced to the Palmetto bug, aka the biggest roach I've ever seen! There I was 7 months pregnant organizing our new home and on the wall was one of those things. I put it in a zip loc baggie and walked it in to the housing office that managed the home we were in. She so calmly said, "oh yes that is a water bug"..  I said "ma'am you can sugar coat it however you want, but this is a roach" HA I will never forget how freaked out I was and after that day we would see about one a month somewhere in our house and I never did get used to them. LOL

So I agree, I can't believe anyone just leaves dishes out, food on the stove, etc. I mean I get having a housekeeper, but how hard is it to scrape your plate and put it in the sink or in the dishwasher? How hard is it to stick leftover food in the fridge, even if the housekeeper would just come the next day and toss it all? It's one think if the housekeeper is there while you are eating and then takes your plates or tidies the kitchen before they leave.. this was someone that came daily to help out, but I just find it ridiculous that they were okay leaving their used dishes and food laying around overnight. Sounds like teenagers leaving garbage in their rooms waiting for mommy to come get it. I've never been "rich" like the Murdaughs, but I'd like to think if I were, I still wouldn't leave things like that simply because I had someone to come along later and clean up after me. Some things just should be done because it's proper to clean up after yourself. It's one thing for someone to do the dishes or washing your laundry and clean your home, but to come along behind you like you are a toddler leaving a mess.. yikes.

I disagree. The moment AM told the 911 operator that he left the victims and/or the crime scene and returned to the house to grab a shotgun, the crime scene was extended to include the house even before the police arrived at the Moselle scene (i.e., an opportunity to hide/destroy evidence).

This would be typical protocol in a double murder police investigation regardless of the individuals involved here and has nothing to do with police focusing on the Murdaughs or not focusing on them.

Lady Justice wears a blindfold and police are supposed to do the same when investigating a crime (i.e., blind to Murdaugh status). MOO

Beautifully stated.

We know this is incorrect because Bianca clearly testified this was after the SUV was retrieved from police impound.
Trying to focus on reliable sources/the actual Trial for proven Facts. Hard and confusing for sure. Great fodder for a book or movie for sure. I think AM is either a Sociopath or Psychopath. From the get go he has shown very little true emotion, playing everyone along the way. MOO

Observation: AM rocks when Paul's name comes up. Many people loved Paul, grieved then and grieve now but have remained still.

He's the only one having these dramatic emotional reactions.

And I note also -- when the courtroom erupts in spontaneous laughter (Krispy Kreme), nothing from AM. No involuntary upturn of his mouth, nothing.

Strange affect.

And even more puzzling is why he would have her come over to clean up the day after his family is murdered. He is a lawyer, so why would he knowing it's all a crime scene, want her to come mess with anything? Well of course we know why, but an innocent man wouldn't allow that because whoever killed his family may have entered that house and why mess with any possible evidence? I guess if you want the evidence you personally left laying around to be messed with then that would make perfect sense.

Well, I’m not getting the inference for the Sunday night Krispy Kreme visit , did you all?

Maybe she was. Bianca testified she found a wedding band between the seats when vacuuming. (In photos -- looks like MM wore a rock + stacked rings).
I listened to that part of the testimony again and Bianca said "her ring, her wedding band".
