Media fueled rumors about the boating accident.... John Marvin says it was "blown out of proportion". Really? A young girl died. This whole family just wants to excuse their bad behavior. John Marvin is coming across as a slick Murdaugh through and through. JMO
He can try to sell that to the jury, but anyone who has seen the Netflix documentary knows how bad it was.

It looks like MM put on quite a bit of weight between these two photos. No body shaming-promise-but probably indicative of a high stress level in her life during that time.

Who was it who recalled an incident where AM got nasty after taking drugs, and spent the night at his parents as a result, can anyone remember?

JMM says he didn't know about AM's drug abuse. That family had a lot going on. JMM also seems convinced of AM's innocence, perhaps the first person that really is.

Paul's girlfriend said Alex got aggressive after taking pills. also wondering if she's going to be a rebuttal witness.

Lead prosecutor Creighton Waters said Monday that he had at least four more witnesses who will be "focused on issues raised during the defense case."

"I don’t think many of them except for one will be very lengthy," Waters added.

At the end of the rebuttal case, jurors will take a field trip to the sprawling hunting estate known as Moselle where Murdaugh allegedly gunned down his wife, Maggie, 52, and his son, Paul, 22, in June 2021.

Agree -- and you don't need to have even seen the documentary to know that it wasn't blown out of proportion -- someone died and Paul was charged with BUI involving death. Even jurors who had never heard of the incident have seen Mark Tinsley's testimony about it. I hope the jurors tucked JMM's comment away in their mental files of all the things that are wrong with the family. JMO.

So if Paul is said to have a gun with him when out about on Moselle I would think he had one that day. He probably had it there maybe learned up against the outside of the feed room. With them supposedly riding around and the shotgun loaded with buck/birdshot probably had that with them as well. Or AM arrived on side by side with it.

If Maggie & Paul went down first and AM couldn’t find his pills that would probably set him off after that week and days events about money.

What stands out to me about the photos is the difference in Maggie’s body language. I don’t see a tremendous difference in her weight; I think part of the reason she looks different in the second photo is that her blouse fits differently.

This! I have been waiting for this info to come up in the trial. I have also wondered about the landing strip at the Mozelle property. If I was a juror on the Mozelle field trip, I would be curious about this. Who used it? When and why? Is small aircraft tracked by the local airport so that records would show when the airstrip was used and who was piloting the plane? (As you can see, I have no knowledge in this area!) jmo

Replying a second time, found image that shows it before trees planted.

On other sites so many comments and focus that SLED did not clean up the crime scene. Aggravates me that the defense is achieving their goal of adding confusion, more doubt to the investigation by creating testimony that is completely irrelevant and means nothing. It is never LE’s responsibility to clean a crime scene, the coroner removes the body and anything else that they deem necessary. There are companies licensed in biohazard cleanup that are hired to do it if the family does not want to do it themselves. Moo

Possibly why 2 guns were used?

The part that I find puzzling is why a grown-*advertiser censored** man would have parents making doctors appointments like they are servants, but OTOH they treated Paul like a spoiled teenager. The evidence of asking his father is right there in the texts introduced by the defense. Perhaps Paul went to Alex's doctor.

I got the impression that he was looking for more than just an appointment with his regular doctor--it felt to me like he was thinking of an appointment with a specialist. My 20 yo who lives at home makes his own doctor appointments, but often asks me to help him find specialists (esp because our insurance's online directory of covered doctors is impossible to navigate).

Question for anyone who has seen both the HBO/CNN documentary and the Netflix documentary: Was one better than the other? Did each bring out different topics?

Eddie may have taken a road-trip to Mexico with the guns.
I have felt for a long time that all of the vehicle switching was HINKY. Could AM have put the guns in JMM's truck which was at the scene courtesy of Paul, and then JMM just left with the guns after the police came and went? That way, police would not search his truck, thinking it was the vehicle that he arrived in after the murders? Did they ever search it?

I did not have time to follow everything yesterday, but I thought JMM said he left the scene the following morning in his own truck.

I have a hard time believing that JMM is knowingly in on the coverup, but when I see what he has done in the past for A...
