Sorry didn't mean to ruin a good day. She isn't worth it. No Mas. I'm gonna go check out the space station it's suppose to be flying over but don't know if I can see it through the clouds. I'll be back.

Do you get "Spot the Station" alerts? I do.

last night was a six-minute blaze across the most beautiful sky, I hollered for the neighbors. I don't know why I think it's so cool, but I do, there's somethign special about knowing there are guys in that light...

(for those interested, google Spot the Station, a NASA site. You can sign up for email or text alerts when the space station will be visible in your sky, with directions on where to look. You only get a few a week, it doesn't flood your mailbox)

The how is not as important as evidence as to who did it and why. Sometimes you can't tell how for certain because of decay that has happened. However in some cases you have a suspect and in those.cases circumstantial evidence can be collected to put together a picture to see if that person had a motive, means.Actions before and after the death. Phone calls, conversations, emails, anything and everything. Rarely is there any direct.evidence...testimony from the person who.may have done it or a witness (victim, accomplice, perp). Everything else, from DNA onward is.circumstantial. You can get a conviction without fully knowing how.someone died. (Scott P)You can get a conviction without a body. You can get a conviction on hearsay (Drew P).

I agree with Doctor G.. the medical Examiner... There is no good reason for duct tape to be near the body of a dead child.

I highly recommend the documentary "Murder on a Sunday Morning" academy winning documentary (I believe it's on youtube) It takes place in Jacksonville, FL.

It helps balance perspective. (not saying you in particular need any perspective)

It really is a good movie, especially for this crowd. True-crime best documentary winner, can't beat it.

These are the guys who made The Staircase about the Michael Peterson trial. I met them at the trial and once I let it be known I was anti Peterson they went all snobby on me. ;) I have to say it was a mesmerizing documentary though even if it was totally skewed toward the defense.

Juror questions. Interesting. Some good ones. Wish they were asked.

Really great questions. Some of the ones not asked really were right on the money (the one about tire slashing and was Jodi involved!! :) )

One of those jurors has really nice handwriting. I'm envious! Wonder if that was Juror #5? They said she asked a lot of questions, and there are many questions in this nice handwriting.

It goes over us at 10:00pm. The clouds were burning off before sunset so I'm hoping for good view.

It makes me put things into perspective and that humbles me.

Ok you guys PLEASE do not get mad at me ...But the Mods have their reason about the Zimmerman case and not having a thread ... please be careful and don't get this one closed please .....

This thread is gonna close itself. This thread went from 900 to 1000 viewers daily down to 30 to 40. We all still love Travis but the case is basically over. She gets one more shot and if that jury can't come to a conclusion she gets life. She will disappear and be forgotten.

Evening GS :seeya:

Rained all day here also, I like rain- good day to kick back and relax. The rain is so calming and makes everything clean again.

Can any one post Rainy Day in Georgia from the tube for me, please?

You see what I did there...

HELP!!!

Someone on here once recommended a British series on DVD that "if you like Downton Abbey you will love this" and I bookmarked it then proceeded to lose the information. Are you out there? Please! Does anyone remember? Anyone at all? Gracias!

Exactly. That case shouldn't be mentioned at all, unless WS decides to open up a thread. :twocents:

I agree with the Mods. That case will poison everyone. There are too many open wounds just waiting to have the scab ripped off. I'll be following the Andrea Schniederman (sp) instead. I also won't discuss it on Facebook, because it breaks up friendships faster than a cheating boyfriend. :floorlaugh:

Not necessarily. There is still a sidebar in Caylee's thread that is active.
Also, If the penalty phase is retried the numbers will go up again....
