Come on down here to Houston Ricki, we have heat to spare! lol We've had mostly 99 degree days since April, and hardly any rain. I cannot wait for the first cool breeze of Fall, and hopefully some wet will come with it. :)

99 just a tad to much. Is it humid in Texas? We have had plenty of rain this summer season. So, much that my potted plants hated it as some rains were torrential and the poor plants took a pounding.

BOMBSHELL tonight for Area 51!!! :floorlaugh:
========================================================
LAS VEGAS- The CIA is acknowledging in the clearest terms yet the existence of Area 51, the top-secret Cold War test site that has been the subject of elaborate conspiracy theories about aliens and flying saucers for decades. The recently declassified documents have set Area 51 buffs abuzz, though there's no mention of UFO crashes, black-eyed extraterrestrials or staged moon landings...... http://www.cbsnews.com/8301-205_162...cknowledged-by-cia-in-declassified-documents/
==========================================================
According to these reports, which include a map of the base's location in Nevada, Area 51 was merely a testing site for the government's U-2 and OXCART aerial surveillance programs. The U-2 program conducted surveillance around the world, including over the Soviet Union during the Cold War.
But the newly released documents make no mention of alien autopsy rooms or spaceship parking lots.
This information will be disappointing to some, who have come to view the area has been a mecca of sorts for alien encounters.
For these true believers, the existence of alien spacecraft at Area 51, and the government's attempts to cover up their trace, is irrefutable and has been since reports of Unidentified Flying Objects -- or UFOs -- began to emerge from the Nevada desert in the middle part of the 20th century....

They're finally admitting to part of what we all knew anyway!

I'm still waiting for them to admit the rest! ;) it's coming! They're breaking it to the public slowly! :)

How come my light's not on???
Oh- it's on this post, but not on the other posts????
What's going on?????

Full name is Potassium Gluconate 595mg. :seeya:

You just about gave me a heart attack. Taking extra Potassium can cause cardiac dysrhythmias and I had no idea what 595 mg was equal to in milliequivalents. I called my husband stat and he reassured me that it was equal to 10 meq or 1 1/2 bananas. PHEW! Carry on!

My heart is still pounding!

I saw a very faint blonde mustache about 2 months ago in the mirror, so I shave my face once a month to make sure nothing is there! I hate getting old.

Zuri- there's only 99mg (in each pill), of potassium. If a person needed more potassium, they would have to see a Dr. to get it. I researched this very thoroughly before I put this pill in my mouth. I don't take pills- only the potassium g and a low-dose aspirin for my heart.
Just for anyone's info :seeya:
