So am I understanding you correctly? The defense witness that doesn't want to be deposed is actually Dr. Hayes, a witness for the prosecution? I will read what Kris Krandle has written.

And Dr. Karl is the first psychologist to see JA?

I am flat on my back with my iPad. I hurt my back Saturday and have been having spasms. Doctor won't prescribe anything unless I am seen first and I cannot get into a car. I do well enough to get to a restroom. I know it will get better as I did the same thing in 2008. ( a bulging disk) and was in hospital for four weeks. Do not want that again. Anyone with ideas to help me? Sure would be appreciated with much love and gratitude!! You all are the best. I don't post much but I read everything.

I get back spasms..does not sound as bad as yours. Heating pad really helps me! I just have to wait it out. Sounds tough. Hang in there. Will be a good distraction to be involved with this trial.

According to the The State vs JA FB, they confirmed Maria was her 'twitter manager', (copy of it posted on Dr. Kristin Randle's Mental Health & Criminal Justice blog):

http://kristinarandle.com/blog/the-jodi-arias-defamation-lawsuit/

Seems like it was right around the time that Maria was banned from the jail for taking the pin wheel drawing out that the tweeting from JA's regular twitter stopped with the 'signing off' tweet.

Hope I haven't broken any TOS rules with above post, if so, no hard feelings if deleted or snipped. :)

Holy cow. So was Maria the one that tweeted the threat to JM? There was a tweet about that, right???? Anyone else remember?

Please try to remember folks that "inviting" is against the rules. I have had to remove a couple of posts so please be careful when you post.

Inviting outside contact or alluding to "private" additional information:

“Inviting” is termed as a post where you invite other members to contact you to find out more information, rather than post it in the forum. This is not allowed and any posts with emails or invitations to contact for more information will either be edited or deleted entirely. This includes use of the Private Message system via comments such as “Check your PMs” or “PM me” posted in discussion threads. Think about it - it's like whispering into someone's ear while you are at a table full of other people. If you want to have a private conversation just have it, don't announce it. Additionally, please don't drop hints or post on the board that you know something or are privy to inside information but you won't or can't post it.

To the best of my recollection the threat towards JM came through a cellmate of JA's, that lady with her hair in pigtails doing interviews? I don't remember a specific tweet threatening JM but that doesn't mean it didn't happen, my memory is getting mighty holey these days. lol

Thanks Geevee. Dr. Hayes was not part of first trial? This going to be good. I am still hoping for a live stream and cameras in courtroom.

She was Juan's last witness ( long blonde hair) in the defense's surrebutall double down redo to refute their Dr. Robert Geffner testimony that was to refute Dr. Horn and DeMarte. She drove poor Jennie almost to tears, when she was being snotty.

Jill S. Hayes, Ph.D., conducts assessments of criminal defendants and civil litigants in a variety of psychological and neuropsychological matters for Steven Pitt & Associates. Her testimony as a prosecution witness in State v. Jodi Arias, was broadcast around the world and received critical acclaim. Dr. Hayes' specialties include diminished capacity; competence to stand trial; mitigation for the death penalty; and psychological and neuropsychological cases. Her professional expertise has been sought by the Bureau of Justice Assistance, the U.S. Department of Justice and a variety of police agencies.

Dr. Hayes has also written numerous articles and book chapters in the areas of clinical, forensic and neuropsychology. A former Director of Psychology Training for the Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center (LSUHSC) Clinical Psychology Internship Program, Dr. Hayes is on the faculty at LSUHSC and the University of New Orleans.

Dr. Hayes graduated with honors from Armstrong Atlantic State University, where she obtained her B.A. in psychology, and from Augusta State University, where she received her M.S. in Applied Psychology. Dr. Hayes earned her M.A. and Ph.D. in clinical psychology, with a minor in behavioral neuroscience, from Louisiana State University. Her clinical psychology and neuropsychology internship was completed at Medical University of South Carolina - Ralph H. Johnson VA Medical Center. She also completed a forensic psychology and neuropsychology fellowship at the Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center.

Dear Mods,

I think you wrote this for me, as I told someone I sent them a pm. I am sorry. I didn't know it was wrong because I hadn't read the rules. :(

It was really innocent on my part and if I didn't tell them, I didn't know they would know how to look for it. All my fault for not reading rules before posting. I was not trying to make anyone feel bad. Again, I apologize.

I think JSS will allow cameras. I would like to watch it live stream. Would love to see JA squirm.

Hi Pages,
None of these links would open for me. I watch YouTube a lot so I am not sure why.

None of the links worked for me on my iPad.........but they do work on my PC. (said something like, "this video is not compatible with your platform"). Are you viewing on a tablet?

I can't find the smileys anymore. Anyone else lose theirs?

Hi Spellbound. The iPad must be my problem. I'm on my back for a few days and all I can use is my iPad. It's heavy too. Would love to purchase a lightweight tablet. Do you know of any?

I cannot find the smileys either.

Where is everybody today? Interesting forum? I will be happy when trial of the killer starts on Sept 8, so we can all be together again and see Travis' family get justice. How does one use PTSD as a defense and any one of the jury buy into it? I never did get that.

Just my wish, nothing more....that Maria could not participate. I am sure her sole responsibility is to keep JA busy talking to her and away from the attorneys. But my opinion is she encouraged JA's bad bahavior by her own. Anyone else feel that way?

I did want to make one other comment about this, Maria being her tweeter makes sense logistic-wise, until the pin wheel incident she's apparently had easy access and private conversations with JA but isn't that unethical behavior on Maria's part? From everything I've read*, their job is to dig up information that shows the defendant deserves to have their life spared in a capital murder case, since they are hired by the public defender's office and paid with taxpayer dollars it seems there should be oversight into what they can and cannot do. And it also makes a mockery of the defense complaining about JA's tweets when/if it was their own mitigation specialist posting those tweets. I just think this deserves some looking into.
