I don't know why it took me so long to figure this out, but this is probably another reason why the convict's mom didn't testify during the last penalty phase, because the defense knew she would be questioned about trying to sell these forged letters to the National Enquirer. Too bad she didn't, because I would have loved to see her and the convict squirm over that. :shame:

Kiefer's articles are so slanted against Juan he probably has troubling staying in his chair while he writes. This article actually tries to lend some veracity to these letters, when most people know that they were blatant forgeries manufactured by the convict during her first attempt at pro se status. Kiefer of course has conveniently forgotten all about Matt M and his role in this matter. It really said a lot about the veracity of these letters when the National Enquirer wouldn't touch them with a 10 foot pole, despite Mama Arias' attempt at brokering their sale. Kiefer conveniently forgot all about that too.

That hasn't been determined yet as the jury hasn't been seated and they will determine if she gets DP.

Thank you. I'm on the fence whether she should get it or not, I think death would be an easy way out for her.
