OT: Yep, it's broke. Have a temp cast dealio on and have to see an orthopedics doc for "the boot", waiting for an appointment conformation.
This sucks.



Very clean break, hasn't shifted, and I am told to stay off of it, get crutches, blah, blah, blah. The only cool part is the x-ray tech didn't have any speed limit signs to adhere to so it was the Indy 500 blasting down the all to the x-ray room! And....getting a dvd of my bones.

So you peeps know me INTIMATELY! LOL! :floorlaugh:

Yep, seems I'm a prisoner to this chair, and not my usual ergonomic chair because I can't put my foot up!!!!! Grrrrrrrr! Yep, I'm on tweet patrol!

Oh Bernina, I'm so sorry to hear/read/SEE it's BROKEN! I take it your a type A personality from your posts? It's gonna be hard for you to "stay off of it." BUT you have to let it heal girl. Sending gentle healing hugs from Kentucky and YES, I do wear shoes :smile:

Between BF Don and Evie (she has her 2 horses here and was training Kissy with me) they'll be fine.

At least most of the staff at the docs are horse peeps, so they didn't look at me weird when I told them what happened. The receptionist said, "Oh, we haven't seen you in a long, LONG time" handing me a bunch of paper work to fill out, yucko,.........."Seriously, You guys only see me when there's a problem or I've got one foot in the grave."
Very high pain threshold. I don't need no stinkin' pain pills, give them to someone who REALLY needs them! If I use them, I overdue it and make problems worse, blah.
Just wondering how much of a "time out" the ortho doc is going to give me?
