feeling awful. woke up crying not sure how i will endure it all. hydrodocone helps but added a xanax every now and then. doc appt. tues. for those of you wishing to visit and bring me cookies, puddings, etc., cancel your plans - haven't had a shower since last sat. gross! but finally brushed my teeth today. will have a bath tomorrow!

I spent all day yesterday doing research on the virus that killed my two foals in utero. I called the pharmaceutical company that made the vaccine that is supposed to prevent Equine Herpes Virus 1 (EHV1). Their vet got right on the phone and opened a case file. She also called my vet for more information. It turned out they have offered to pay for both foal necropsies and have requested placenta tissue to study and use the results towards amending their vaccine to cover the mutant? strain that killed my foals.

I have figured out finally, what went wrong. There was cross contamination and exposure where the broodmares were boarded. This could have been prevented if proper precautions were taken. I haven't slept in 3 nights as this has both saddened and angered me. I just can't seem to get out of my own way. I don't deal with loss well and for some reason, this has put me over the edge.

You did so well to call the company, Zuri. Sure it doesn't bring your foals back but at least their responsability is questioned.
But the worse for me is knowing you are suffering. I so much understand your anger as well as your sadness. I'll hike up to Tête du Parmelan today and I'll take you with me...

Maybe Darryl has a better reason to not get on the stand, According to Jodi he was guilty of what AVL, MCF, and Geff said Travis was. He mocked and berated her during an argument, so much so that he caused her to have a nervous breakdown. Wouldn't that make him a psychological and emotional abuser?

I think the fight (apparently, more than one) became what Travis did to her. She hasn't said if Darryl ever hit her but I bet he shoved and pushed her away several times.

I had never thought of it that way, but you could have something there. I also have always believed that DB is scared to death of Jodi. And I can easily envision a scenario in which his ex-wife told him he'd better do whatever it takes, as in jump through hoops, to keep their child safe from that killer if he wants to continue being a part of their son's life. Thus the fake sugar coating and false praise and him so obviously kissing @$$ when he was on the stand and in the interview.

Thank you...I made the mistake of sitting outside on the deck and didn't think about wearing my mask (first spring/summer of wearing a mask) anyway, I forgot, and so many neighbors were mowing, cutting down tree limbs, general outside clean ups, and I'm paying dearly for it Doing mist breathing treatments with extra meds in the doses for times like this! Do feel better this am. Silly me...I will know next time...wear the mask!!!

Breathing Machine is a Nebulizer for some reason what the machine's name is...my mind goes totally blank! All I can recall is breathing machine. I had to Google the word breathing machine
